Things have been better, I was at a rock show today and surprisingly even the lapidary community is into bitcoin.
I picked up this .999 copper 1 oz fine copper bitcoin, at a ROCK SHOW.
I was so shocked to see it I had to buy it. I got my miner and have been mining USDE, and converting half of it into BTC.
Any of you guys find or hear about bitcoin in places you wouldn't expect?

This was the coin that got me into Bitcoin.
I got mine of all places in a giveaway contest for a laptop.  The losers (which I was) got one of these.
It really was the catalyst to get me into mining and the community as a whole.  I even wrote about it in my article over on cryptocoinsnews.com

I also live very rural and I was in the local gun shop and the owner was saying he would was thinking about taking bitcoin and asked me what I thought of it just after christmas.
It was pretty cool and a place I never thought would embrace stuff like this.
