user: SHIFT

SHIFT offered to sell me a PSP battery that was, in his words, "working and brand new."  I paid the equivalent of ~$15 in BTC (1.7).  The battery that arrived was broken and in no sort of original packaging.  SHIFT clearly had broken one of the small, plastic tabs off that hold the battery in place.  It also seems he tried to pry the battery open judging from the scratch marks along the side.  SHIFT most likely tried to mod the battery into a Pandora battery or similar. In the process he broke off the plastic tab and bricked the battery. He then proceeded to sell it to me without conscience.

kansattica sold me an amazon gift code that had already been claimed by another member.  Glad I checked it and didn't try and resell.  Beware.

Well Unfortunately I must add someone to this list; I had hoped to not have to do this, but it seems that the BitCoin world is a haven for the scammers.

I made a deal through BitcoinAuctioneer with Anthony Piech aka razmatazelite@gmail.com for a purchase of (2) 6950 cards, the deal was outlined in a payment plan, and I send a forward payment, of a little over 6 BTC.

I know its not a lot of funds but in someways that's what makes it worse, that a person would even bother with a scam for ~$60.oo.

If for some reason this does resolve itself I will gladly make a note or remove this post, but I don't see it happening, I have sent emails to both people (if they really are different people) and have got absolutely no response over the last week.

Raeldi is INDEED a scammer.  I can kiss my $300 goodbye.
start a chargeback, and Poof, You get a free bitcoin.
just DO NOT state ANYTHING about bitcoins in the chargeback report, PayPal is "investigating" (locking for a year) any account that is thought to be conducting transactions with bitcoins

I think I might have to second SHlFT as a scammer. I bought an iPhone 3GS off of him 3 weeks ago and it still has yet to arrive and there is no proof of shipment. Not a good first experience in the community, losing 22 BTC.
Beware!

There is some one on bitcoin.org.uk who has registered with my name, and has even copied at least 1 post of mine to give it an appearance of being authentic. This person is NOT me, and is most certainly a scammer. Please do not transact with him. I have contacted the administrator there and requested resolution & control of the name. If they are willing to hand it over to me I will post about it here. Until that time DON'T SEND THAT GUY A DIME!
