What is Lumeneo?

Lumeneo is a decentralized, completely anonymous, peer to peer cryptocurrency.

Lumeneo is a cryptocurrency based on CryptoNote technology. Our goal is to give users complete anonymity while having fast transactions. It's not a fork of another blockchain, and it has a long and relatively flat emission curve. With its own genesis block there is no degradation of privacy due to ring signatures using different participants for the same tx outputs on opposing forks. Lumeneo uses a static mixin so everyone is on the same playing field making transactions difficult to trace.

Mission

We want to make crypto easy for the less experienced user. This is the main problem we have today in the blockchain space. A small minority of the population knows what the difference is between a private and public key. So we want to focus on educating people on blockchain so they can in turn give back to the community and prove that cryptocurrency has a real world use case. Educating the public on blockchain benefits the entire cryptocurrency community and all the esoteric altcoins that have their own goals to improve the space.

Lumeneo will bring cryptocurrency to the less experienced by incorporating LMO into mobile and desktop games. The users will be rewarded in this anonymous currency and give them incentive to continue playing. They then can use this in-game currency to buy items online and get tangible goods, instead of only buying items in the game. "Gauntlet" will be our first game that is a resurrection of the popular 80s game. We will be working with modern game engines also to give a more realistic experience to users that do not enjoy retro gaming.

Our goal is to bring trust back into the space even though cryptocurrency is "trustless". Even so, everyone using that currency has to trust that the developers are not planning on exit scams, pump and dumps, and other unethical schemes to escape without a scratch. We will prove our loyalty to the community through continuing the project and furthering development.

Lumeneo uses the Cryptonight-lite algorithm so it is easily mineable with CPUs and graphics cards. We are dedicated to staying decentralized so we will fork to new hashing algorithms until ASICs are more widely available. If they do not become widely available then we will switch to Proof of Stake. This will be decided by the community.

Yes, the project looks good, also the dev is committed to it and this can mean only one thing, that will be a success in the long term. There has always been a secure connection. We are introducing a sidechain that will be used for storing data and Dapp creation. all of the funds will be stored in a smart contract and can only be exchanged with LMO. We are working on making Lumeneo an ecosystem, not just another alternative form of payment.

Price is all relative. What matters is market cap. For example, look at Bytecoin, they have a 184 billion total supply. Instead of holding .001 XMR you hold 55 BCN which would actually lead to larger financial gains if the price increases. I can not speculate the price of LMO, but I will soon find out as well as the rest of the community when we get on Maplechange.
