1st payement received Smiley

But with around 150kh, i have 33 stales ( ~8%) for the last 24h
On waffle, same hashrate, 0 stales on the same period

While i'm there, 2 more things to change/add ^^

- Show accepted share for the current round, not only our hashrate ^^
- Balance section: Always put bitcoin on top or bottom of the other currency regardless of amount we have compare to the other currency Smiley

Glad you got your payout Smiley

I think the issue is probably due to the fixed difficulty of 512. With low hashrates it can take a while to submit a share which increases the percentage of stales.

At the moment we fully intend to switch over to vardiff at the earliest possible time. We've had to focus more on increasing users' earnings this week, but it's on the way. Hopefully this will solve the issue. I'm of the understanding that wafflepool used to be vardiff but switched to 512 a few days ago... you'd probably have the same issues there too now.

In answer to your suggestions:
- You can see accepted / rejected shares for the round in the 'Statistics' box when logged in.
- That's a nice idea to keep the BTC balance at the top - we'll see what we can do.

I'll keep this thread updated with progress, and thanks for the feedback.

Oh my bad, didn't check Statistics  Roll Eyes

Hope to get less stale when you add vardiff
On waffle, even with 512, i don't get stale , perhaps it have to do with coin mined too, low dif coin + high miner diff = more stale ^^

We will see how it goes.
Nice work done, really hope this pool will succeed with the work you do Smiley

Thanks very much! I'll keep an eye on the stales issue in case it can be improved with the current pool setup. The particular coins we're mining may be playing a part, ping time to the server also.

If you check the balances screen you'll see that bitcoin is now at the top regardless of the amount Smiley The only time it will disappear is if you have a 0 BTC balance.

A couple of standard account features that were requested have now gone live:

- 'Forgotten password' link next to the login form
- 'Account Settings' screen in the top right menu, allowing you to change your password

Anyone who has forgotten their password should now be able to reset it to gain access to their account.

As of right now, with 14mh+ on the pool, in the last 48 hours I've made .07 a day.. It's not meeting the expectations stated... gonna let it ride out the rest of the week or so and see if it changes or not.

Hey dankroxel,

Thank you very much for giving us your hashes over the last couple of days - it's really appreciated. As we're a brand new pool we've had a few bugs & issues since launch that have been affecting earnings. We've been monitoring and adjusting the system all day to optimise payouts, and we're making progress.

To be honest, after trying just about everything to optimise the pool's earnings, we stumbled across the most unexpected bug earlier. Our prices had stopped syncing with Cryptsy, and so the profitability algorithm was running off of outdated information. What are the odds?! All fixed now so we should see big improvements.

Thanks for sticking around - we will definitely be rewarding miners long term who have helped us out through this launch phase.

Hey, No problem! I'm not giving up on you yet...

Thanks! Today's payouts were in the range of 0.009-0.01 BTC / MH / day so we seem to have caught up with most other pools now.

There's a problem with Cryptsy's API today which is preventing trade data synching to the pool. We are still trading the coins as usual to prevent loss of earnings, but it means that they may not appear as traded in your account until Cryptsy fixes the issue. This is out of our control and is affecting other pools too.

If they are unable to fix the problem today, a proportion of today's earnings may be carried over to tomorrow's payout. We've contacted Cryptsy and will keep users up to date with any progress.

Cryptsy have said that problems should be resolved within 2 hours. If so, balances will be updated in time for today's payout.

Final update on the situation - everything has been fixed at Cryptsy's side so the pool has returned to normal. All balances have now updated.

New to your pool since yesterday - any reason Mincoin is not on the list right now?  Seems more profitable than CNC and we mined it within the last day.

Also why is Grandcoin inactive, we have plenty of hashrate to mine that coin?

Hey, thanks for giving the pool a try.

We've been having real trouble getting the MinCoin wallet to sync to the correct blockchain. It was mined earlier today but on a bad fork, so we disabled it and covered the losses that were incurred from it - we are taking the hit for any issues that are out of the users' control. So in the meantime we're being very careful with MinCoin until it's back on the right chain, but it's high on our priority list to get this coin sorted.

GrandCoin is reporting a problem - will look into it.

Thanks for the feedback - we're still working hard to get the pool as profitable as possible.

GrandCoin is now active again. It was disabled because CoinChoose is currently reporting an incorrect block height, and this is one of our reference points.

Really like what you're doing and I'm going to keep hashing with you for awhile.  I'm recommending you on cryptocointalk.com but a fair question was raised - interested in your answer.

What some people want to know is how we can be mining coins that bring an estimated .06ish per day but the performance number shows something larger than that.  I said that the estimates below are moment to moment and that the number at the top is an avg over 24 hours - but I don't often see the estimates in the coin list performing at a level that should raise our average.

Can you offer some explanation?  Thanks.
