The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Bye bye, MYR wants people who truly believe in it and in the benefits of cryptocurrencies. It's great when greedy 'day trader' leave the boat when they dont see a 10000% increase in 24 hrs

Yeah, they're nerds after all. They rather sell at 1/10th the price instead of waiting for a few hours.

Being nerd is something bad huh? But I do recommend people to sell at peaks and buy back later.

I really love this coin, but it's not a good storage overnight. Please make the rewards halve or something, cuz I can't stand the dumping of the miners.

Another algorithm to watch out for: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558414.0[ANN] AIDEN | First Cryptocurrency to use Scrypt-OG (Optimized for GPU)
Once upon a time long long ago, the cryptocurrency community was divided by a great gpu vs cpu civil war. Cpu miners were mad they could no longer get many bitcoins with their intel celerons and the migration to scrypt started. The original implementation of scrypt was a short term fix that only kept GPU’s down for a few months. Fast forward to today, gpu miners arn’t as rare as they once were and there is a new enemy in town. The EVIL ASIC!
Not ready to throw away your GPU investment?! MINE AIDEN!
Aiden uses an optimized version of scrypt that is 8x less memory intensive than traditional scrypt. GPU miners will get more out of their hardware AND mine a coin that is currently asic resistant. Remember, nothing is ASIC intolerant, but the cost to develop an asic for Scrypt-OG is currently a deterrent.

The prices relative to coin creation are going to pretty much be the same. Coin creation rate doesn't matter if the coin is innovative or popular. It also helps when more miners get on the network because it spreads those same number of coins into more hands rather than concentrating the same number of coins into the hands of a few. If the miners are going to dump NOW, it's going to be more of a constant "trickling" dump rather than massive market moving dumps than drop the coin 100 satoshis in a minute. We are secure going forward, guys. Innovation will be the victor here and I really wouldn't worry about how many coins are getting created.

I wrote a Script that displays the Community-Bounties "live". http://just-wegi.de/myriadbounty/ . It updates every minute. As I want to improve the script, I would very much like feddback.

Yeah, I agree...it's not the same as any regular scrypt coin or whatever, coins WILL get better distribution because of the coin's attributes, which make it stand out right now. Aiden uses regular scrypt but lowered the N factor to 6 (like vertcoin but a lower instead of a higher n factor than original's scrypt N factor of 10)

Holy crap, thanks! Looks like you'll be receiving one of those bounties yourself Suggestions: Hyperlink each bounty address to its corresponding block explorer page. Sort by donation amount or last received donation size or time. Add total number of donations that comprise each bounty to date (i.e. number of inputs). Finally, there should be a way to easily pipeline new bounties onto the website. Right now I assume it would be me having to talk to you then you manually update the bounty list. Is there any way to make this process faster?
