60% may not be less
what if 20% will be against?

MYR will be a classic?

Personally, I will continue using the v9 client for as long as possible - it works better & uses less rosources. I'm not sure I'll be able to use the newer clients on my nodes if enforcment happens & might have to drop XMY if it does  Sad

this is the first unhappy.
As I say, you may receive myr Classic
Although I'm not sure that it will be successful only if the development team will be better

in fact you are very vulnerable and you can lose MYR
If a third-party developer want it can get to maintain MYR Polo without updates and appear with classical version, or rather original MYR

OK, myrbot the irc and reddit tipbot is up to date on the latest version. Some wrinkles at first but seems like everything is ironed out now.

You can come get some tips or rains on ##myriadcoin channel on freenode irc (have to be authed with nickserv):
http://webchat.freenode.net

Or there will probably be tipping thread on /r/myriadcoin tomorrow on reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/myriadcoin

Also, if you just want a couple coins to play around with and test the wallet, you can try the faucet here:
http://trip.myrcraft.com

Or cryptapus also runs a less graphical/fun faucet here:
https://cryptap.us/myr/faucet/

Hash Engineering Solutions is working on the update for the upcoming fork (0.11.3.1).

The update will include faster syncing for new users and less battery usage.

Since the yescrypt code doesn't exist in Java, some Android devices may not be supported.  If I am wrong about yescrypt not existing in Java, then let me know.

Thank you for your support! I couldn't find a tip address in your latest wallet, can you share how folks can tip your work?

FYI HashEngineering did the original Myriad android wallet for NO bounty (AFAIK), just the challenge. Someone who really likes their craft! Smiley

Bitsquare and Cryptopia are already updated. Poloniex has been notified and I think responded that they will do it at some point, perhaps they are waiting for the actual fork.

Bittrex wants 1.5 BTC to change the ticker. Anyone who wants to pay them can.

Well, a bit more is deserved. Thanks!

Here is the first "Test" version that works with 0.11.3.1
https://github.com/HashEngineering/myriadcoin-wallet/releases/tag/v0.11.3.1

Be sure to install this on a test device and always back up your wallet file (keys).

Thanks for the tips and donations.

I don’t know but what happens to Myriad if more people continue to mine qubit than yes-scrypt. Could we end up with Myriad and a Myriad Classic?

Lol.... Yes it could happen, but it won't. A great majority of the hash power apparently supports the fork and has done so for a while now: https://cryptap.us/myr/myrstat/

I've heard that Myriad is the first coin to actually make use of this consensus system requiring the last 750/1000 blocks. It would be available to DGB too if they upgrade to a more recent Bitcoin code base. If Qubit miners decide to keep on the old chain, sure they can.... but I can't see them getting much support from the community. In fact, right now 100% of Qubit blocks are hard-fork blocks.... so Qubit ASIC miners are firing themselves... or more likely they simply downloaded the latest wallet without reading what it does because they are just trying to mine and dump as many MYR/XMY as quickly as they can.

I’m so sceptical at heart. The qubit mining could be on the new fork just to encourage it and acquire coin on it before the switch. When the switch happens it changes to old fork so that it continues to mine. The whole mining consensus could suddenly switch over night but I hope you are right and everything runs smoothly as planned. I’ll be watching with interest.

Interesting point.... But if they do that, the situation will basically be like this:

1. A higher work chain with CPU mining enabled and support of current devs
2. A lower work chain with Qubit ASIC mining and support of Qubit ASIC miners

I dunno... somehow I just don't think that option #2 will be very marketable. But they're welcome to try. It's no different to me than if someone were to launch another multi-PoW altcoin.

EDIT: On second thought, perhaps DigiByte official pool could start mining Myriad Classic and switch Myr-Qubit over to merged mining.... It's more rewards for DigiByte miners, right? Wink

Not too mention that all the exchanges have already switched to latest version, so they'd have nowhere to trade their classic coins. Color me skeptical that exchanges such as poloniex would list both coins  Roll Eyes
