Dumb question time.

On the mining page (https://www.miners-pool.eu/#!/pools/myriadcoin-groestl) the columns are #Block, Validity, Finder, Amount, Date, Difficulty and Percentage.  What is the Percentage actually telling me?   Huh

Cheers

That tells you what percentage of the expected time it took to actually find a block. So, based on diff there is some expected number of hashes pool will have to do to find a block, but it's a random or probabilistic process. So, if it takes exactly that number of hashes - 100%. If it gets lucky and finds a block really quick with only 10% of expected hashes - 10%. Really unlucky and takes forever with 4x as many hashes as expected - 400%.

Aside: Myriadcoin mentioned in reply to top comment about interplanetary blockchains in this thread:

Any ideas why sgminer can't connect.  I copy and pasted user and pass from conf into my bat file, so that should be fine.

You can't solomine with sgminer, as the daemon doesn't support getwork, and almost all versions of sgminer don't support get block template.

I think it's originally forked from Zetacoin, if that's what you mean.

Is dev still active?

Yes, original dev is still around, and there are several other folks that contribute to the main repo.

Hi, guys!

Have you tried mining Myriad coin using myr-gr algo with ccminer forks?
I've encountered the problem with the latest ccminer forks revisions.
The poolside hashrate is way lower, that the miner reported hashrate.
For example, having 46 Mh in the miner I get 10 Mh on the pool.
This happens with all ccminer releases starting from April-May 2016.
I tried the old classical ccminer 1.2. It gives the absolutely identical hashrates, but it is 10-15% slower than forks.
Are there any ideas, what can be the problem? I've tested on GTX1060 GPU and Win7-x64.
