Switching topics: why is suprnova.cc using MYR "ring logo" for pretty much everything?

Hi all, I've got a technical mining question...

I'm running a 5 chip gridseed with cgminer on linux (Debian wheezy x86_64).  The version of cgminer I'm using is built from the source here https://github.com/girnyau/cgminer-gc3355.git  I did try dtbartle's version but couldn't get it to work.  Anyway... has been working fine for a number of weeks, hashing away on p2pool scrypt (mainly on uk.p2pool.geek.nz:5556) but at some point over the weekend, it stopped working.  Everything *appears* fine in cgminer (Accepted blocks, A, R, HW counts rising as expected) but my p2pool page is showing estimated earnings of zero Sad

You can see my miner here:

http://myriad.p2pool.geek.nz/miner/1/MUSfEGXCTuoy996PjJnQysnaTofdrVtEDw

I restarted my machine about an hour ago so I'm hoping it will somehow spring back into life, but it hasn't yet!  Any ideas?

Cheers,
Dan

Hahaha wouldn't you know it - a reboot fixed it.  My expected earnings is now climbing again Smiley  I guess a may have to put a reboot on cron daily or something...

Greetings,

The brainwallet site has been updated so that transactions build with the "Transactions" tab can now be pushed directly onto the network. No longer are you required to copy and paste the raw transaction onto my pushtx service.

What this means is that you can now spend directly from paper or physical wallets on one site. Additional instructions are available on the site:

I don't think it's volume necessarily at this point. They also haven't re-added Monero or NXT, but they have the HIRO market up and running. I think they're just using low volume as an excuse.

Just checked and MYR market is back up at Mintpal, but XMR and NXT still not. I really think the low volume thing was just bullshit excuse.

Calm yourselves. Myr is only warming up and it takes time for Mintpal to get all the coins up.

Yes I remember Mintpal did state that they won't remove any coin because of their change to V2.

Don't know exactly why there was a delay for putting up the MYR market, but at least I can also see my MYR balance is safe there now.

@funbitcoins - Remember that too, just didn't believe it.  Can't even access my acct on Mintpal anymore, it seems to have vanished.  resetting password fails, nor a support link to help.

Thankfully had very little or no coins left on the exchange before the switch over, perhaps that is why they deleted me.  Would recommend caution using them @ this point.

The process went smooth for me. Had no problems at all. I'm pretty sure Mintpal is one of the best.

First Ever SHA256 Merged Block!

Earlier today we found our first ever block of HUC. Please don't get too excited though, it's worth a whole 2.634 HUC, which is currently trading for 2364 satoshis on craptsy.

To celebrate, I've donated 20K MYR to http://myriad.p2pool.geek.nz/donations.

We're currently mining HUC and NMC. I hope to add another coin this weekend (IOC, already have a wallet up and synced, just need to get it added to the site), and we have our eyes on another couple of coins that may be available in the not too distant future (VIK and UBTC). If anyone has suggestions of worthwhile merged coins to add, please do let us know.

It's a hard slog doing merged mining for SHA256 because of the the tiny scale of our network relative to all the mining firepower out there. Case in point: NMC expected time to block = 792 days, 10 hours, 14 minutes! Anyone mining SHA256 who would like to join us and help pull those block times down a little, please visit http://myriad.p2pool.geek.nz/home to find your nearest node.

I see my balance under https://www.mintpal.com/market/btc/myr and can put order with it.
But I can not see my MYR balance under https://www.mintpal.com/balances and hence cannot do any MYR withdraw.

It's the absolute worst, least intuitive, clumsiest web interface I have ever seen (since the late 90's anyway).

The hoops you have to jump through are just unbelievable.

And don't clear you cookie cache, or you'll have to reset your password again.

After resetting my password once again, I still couldn't log in. I kept getting a "you need to reset your password" error. When trying to reset my password again, I get this error (note that with no e-mail address BTW):

If they were doing stand-up comedy, this would be funny.

Worse than a bunch of rookies could do.

Does V2 stand for virtual 2 year olds?
