I think it's a very good update, I just want to ask question.
If I have registered for a standard prize with $50 bankroll, and I want to replace it with a triple prize with a $500 bankroll, do I have to re-register or can I make it multi or even triple prize with all options included?
and if I just want to re-register for triple the prize with a $500 bankroll and cancel the standard prize with $50 bankroll, can that be?

Hello hahay, you can add new accounts with any bankroll (up to three of course) anytime you want.
You can edit the bankroll of registered accounts only before the competition starts.


By the way guys, we really need more participants otherwise the competition can't start.
Right now we have:
Total registered users: 7
Total registered entries: 13

This is really low, specially since we've updated the prizes.
It's hard to understand how users are not registering, assuming they enjoy betting and a good challenge.
We are offering options that suits any type of betting, and there is no risk in participating, assuming players make bets anyway.

Yes, that is a very small number of participants, I also don't know how many participants are on the first round and what are the reasons for not returning. Because I think this competition has a big prize and you can make bets with only 1% to 5% of your bankroll at that time and there are still lots of prizes and interesting side challenges I feel.

Maybe by making promotions more broadly or making something that will be interesting like giveaway etc. will make more people who will join or at least know about this competition. Just a suggestion!

I don't get it as well. Specially because if we go to the gambling discussion section of this forum we see a lot of threads dedicated to tips and bets in general. I'm starting to think most users just go there for "campaign spam", and don't really care about betting.

It's a bit of a disappointment seeing the well known tipsters of this forum not participating as well. It would be a good place for them to show their value, since all bets are public.

Maybe it would be nice if BetKing would create a team of Tipsters to join this competition. They could have special conditions to participate, since they do sell their tips, and their bets would be public and all. For instance, prizes for them could have an even lower rollover, or even no rollover at all, specially if they brought some users to join.

In fact, now that I think about it, that last idea could apply to all. Reduce the wagering requirements even further, depending on the number of players people would get for the competition.

EDIT: I got another one. Why not create a team competition. Players would form their team, and then we would sum the points of all team elements, and see who won. There could be a special prize for the team, or simply a reduce of wagering requirements for the prizes of the team members.

I know there are a lot of incentives to reduce wagering requirement based on sig, etc, but most users are on campaigns, so I guess they prefer to stay there instead of using those incentives, but if we offer the incentive based on the players they bring, or the teams they form, we would have more people joining.

Even so far the number of participants who register is still less than 20 people, so in my opinion this competition will be canceled or maybe it will be postponed to have the required number of participants.

Hello everyone, as stated in the rules we can only start when we have the minimum number of entries (which is 24).

Right now we have:
Total registered users: 10
Total registered entries: 22

This doesn't mean however that the competition will be canceled. We are very close, so we should continue.
Right now we are just waiting for more users to join so we can start.

To give enough time for potential updates, and for more users to join, I think we can re-schedule the start for the 8th October.

You can freely change your starting bankroll and / or entries you will use until Monday (October 8); after that, I suppose we can still make some changes in entries that haven't made bets yet.

Hey guys, actually just signed up for a BetKing account recently, and your odds feature on some of my bets on my almost daily updated thread that tries to show accumulative advantages of choosing best odds/margin.

1. Interested to join the competition... and I see you're starting a new round tomorrow.
2. Rules seem a tad complicated for me - not that I mind reading through everything, but the way some of the rules are, it's hard to participate without changing too much the style of betting. I'm probably only going to bet as normal, instead of taking bets to try win prizes. The bankroll part also is a bit unclear. Isn't there a quick and dirty start guide?

Not a criticism of course... just might get more bites if you made it simpler.

Actually there is nothing complicated with the rules in this competition and you really only bet as you usually do on sprotsbook bets. About bankroll, bankroll is only to determine the minimum bet count as far as I know, because valid bets on this competition are bets made between 1% - 5% of your bankroll at that time.

Oh, I completely agree with you buwaytress, and in fact, that's something I've been complaining about for a while now (probably since before we were sponsored by BetKing.io). That, and the need for a quick and easy start guide in the beginning of the thread, instead of the entire "Terms of Service" (but, at least in this last case, we're in the middle of making changes: the rules and other important information will probably be sent to a separate thread, like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5043267.0, while this thread will retain only the most pertinent information).

But it's pretty much as hahay said. Try to place at least 1 valid bet a day (that is, a bet with a stake between 1% and 5% of your current bankroll), and you will receive points at the end of the day, based on your (and the other participants') ROI% for that day. The better you do compared to everyone else, the more points you get. Then, at the end of each week, we will distribute the Weekly Prizes to the participants with the most points (same for the Monthly Prizes).

Daily prizes are a bit different, and we ask participants to do something more specific (like tomorrow's "Winning single bet or parlay with highest odds") - I imagine that is harder to get into, but it adds some variety and continued interest for those that aren't as interested in the longer Weekly and Monthly competitions.

If you would like us to clarify anything further, do let us know (either through post or directly through PM), and we'll answer as soon as possible. That's a great news, I'm in!

Keeping in mind that today's challenge is "Winning single bet or parlay with highest odds" I placed 3 bets with the highest odds possible at the moment, x5.35, x23, x5.35. Let's see if I can win any of them.
