If you have enough money for a GTX1060 or even a GTX1070 buy it. Nvidia always was behind ATI, giving a far more power and staying colder than radeons while you play.

If you plan to play with a resolution 1440p or use the VR, the choice is to be made between the RX 480 8GB GeForce GTX 1060 6GB to improve performance with high resolutions. As far as I can remember, they cost about the same and their performance is also the same.

+1 Absolutely I agree. +2 Agreed. Regarding mining which algorithm or which coin to be mined is to be determined first,because some cards supports and made perfectly suited for some specific algorithms. Considering present scenario not much profit left in mining so its better to play games  The recent release Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti is one hell of a card and really have some amazing features and supports both mining and gaming quite nicely.  Enjoy gaming and Mining. |

I Need To Buy a VGA Card, My Budget is 500$, What is Your Recommend? I recommend you to wait and buy the latest RTX 20 series in the future, I think they're 10-15% faster than GTX 10 series cards. Just my opinion. |

In my point of view Nvidia is slightly better than AMD and there are lots of variants based on the budget in which the dollar per fps is pretty decent.

I`ve been using NVIDIA for gaming for years now, untill I switched to PS4.
Faced no problems with their graphic cards before, and now with their new models I`d choose NVIDIA for sure.
