I think Etherium and EOS are good investments because their price will rise when bull market begins but they will never overtake Bitcoin. So a dominant share of your portfolio for long term must be bitcoin.

I suggest you to buy ETH and EOS. Or BNB (Binance coin). But don’t buy LTC or ripple. LTC will make you disappointed, and ripple is totally way overvalued. And try ADA.

no, price of none of these altcoins will ever get even remotely close to bitcoin price. in fact most of them are on a long term downtrend because of the issues they have in long term.
for instance ETH has unlimited supply and there will be more and more of it to be dumped on the market. not to mention lots of technical issues that this platform has.
XRP is a centralized useless coin with a massive controlled supply of 100 billion and they have only released 40% of it so far.
LTC is a copy of bitcoin that doesn't have anything worth mentioning that can set it apart from bitcoin.

it doesn't matter what you buy. if you have $1 or $1 million you can invest in bitcoin or any other altcoin as long as you are making a deposit bigger than the minimum your bank allows!!!

and as for profit if bitcoin worth $7000 goes up 5% you will make the same amount of profit as if an altcoin worth $10 goes up 5%.
the important thing is to see which one has the better chance of going up 5% with the least amount of risk.

With a small capital you can gain less if you invest it on expensive coins. It's better to find a cheaper altcoin with less than a $1 and with potential grow once the bull market will come. Those cheaper coins can easily rise x2 or x5 that can easily double your money. Although it's too risky but if you do it with diligent research then somehow you can manage it properly.

I will suggest you buy ethereum because it also has very good potentials, strong team, good technology, it has cheap transaction fee and it is also fast. You can also invest in EOS and NEO because they also have very good potentials.

Bitcoin is the king but it's not the only choice Smiley. There are so many other choices for traders and investors Smiley. I think you should take a look at BinanceCoin (BNB), it's a really good coin to hold and invest in, beside by holding BNB on Binance you also can decrease trading fee on Binance as well Smiley.

if you are a beginner and have a small capital I suggest you to invest in Ripple coins (XRP). This coin price can be affordable with your small capital, in contrast to the price of bitcoin which is classified as an expensive coin.

What about investing in the ethereum it seems the only candidate that will be very close to the bitcoin. Ethereum same as bitcoin because it can't be considered as security token and it's worth to invest right now, but i think that will not give you a huge profit but it give you the more guarantee because ethereum placed on the second largest crypto right now.

give upon xrp and ltc. xrp is way overvalued and will be down to 0.1... in may it had price 0.8. xrp should not listed as top-10 coins.
