Hi

I hope someone else has seen a problem like this before.
 
We are trying to figure out, why 57 out of 128 of our miners are showing 0.0000 GH/s. They start out fine when we boot them up but then over time they just stop hashing.

I've attached kernel logs, screenshots of miner status page, systems page, Internet speed and ping times to google.com & antpool.com

1. What is the optimum temperature range we should see on the miners 70-80C? I've seen people mention that the thermal cut off is 115C,

2. Right now we are using ADSL internet for these 128 miners and we are looking to go up to 500 miners our ADSL is approx 20Mbps Down 2Mbps up with no data limit. Is this enough internet for the number of miners we want to have on our farm?
1 antminer 240-300MB per month
500 antminers = 150,000MB(150GB) per month Both up and down

The speed for 1 miner is 10 kbps. 500 miners are less than 1Mbps

Please look at the logs and photos and tell us what we need to do to fix this to have all of our miners hashing correctly.

There appears to be a newer firmware version available.  I'd start there.  With such a large failure number, I think we can rule out hardware issues with the miners.  My first guesses would be temperature or IP conflicts.

The vast majority of my S9s stopped hashing overnight.  They all seemed ok, green lights flashing, hash board LEDs lit red, all communicating with the network just fine.  The temps were all ok.  When I go back and check my error logs, the ones that stopped hashing, all stopped at the same moment.  Whatever hit them, hit them simultaneously.  Restarting the stopped ones corrected the problem.  At this time, everything is operating normally.  Most of them did have the "127.0.0.1 auth.minerlink.com" entry in their /etc/hosts file, so I don't think it was that issue either.  I would sure like to know what caused this.
