I treied the windows GUI miner that was created, but all i get is this window that ask for a namecoind path and I can't get anything else working. I need an address to get namecoins from merged mining and I don't want to just keep converting them to bitcoin.

Any tutorials or help. i can't find anything about setting up a client in windows to generate an address.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

you need the actual namecoind program also. go here:

http://dot-bit.org/InstallAndConfigureNamecoin

it has directions and a link to the namecoin main page to download the windows namecoind program. point the GUI program at it once its installed and configured. the directions are bit sparse and it has linux and windows directions.

sorry I cant be more specific, I use ubuntu 11.04 for my namecoin stuff and just use the command line client (namecoind) directly.
