im mining solo as well man... pool gave me jackshit... found 3blocks with 1mhs in 2 days.... (last 2 days) found a good 2.3 mil coins... earned only 400k in pool...

going solo now for 10h... already found 1 block of 600k

I'm already mining at a pool but i can spare 1Mh/s for a day or so.. it always for fun

Normally I would also recommend solo mining with decent size rigs, but time is against you here as block halves in a few days. Normally you would be making 2 -3 x more solo mining than with the pool. But you just don't have unlimited amount of time with this coin.

updated wallet and it sync'd right away ... now I can mine ... thank you again all!

I switched over to my failover-only pool about 2 hours ago. I just don't want to take the risk of being stuck with nothing. It is not very comforting to not get any updates from them.

I received a payment from hash strike a few hours ago and nothing since. Instead of the regular payout, they seem to have lumped it all together into one transaction. It's missing a ton of coins. From my calculations and judging from the difficulty levels, I seem to have been scammed out of at least 2-3 hours of mining if not more.

It's too bad, hashstrike has been great the last 3-4 days for zeit coins. Not sure if it was deliberate theft, or carelessness, or factors beyond their control that led to the smaller payout.

If any pool owners are out there, please just do the right thing when you have trouble. Take the pool offline so our rigs will automatically go to one of our backups instead of keeping the mining part running but stealing/losing our coins. Much more respectful way of dealing with the inevitable issues that will arise.

They owe me roughly 300,000 + coins. Nothing from them for the last 10 hours, not even a lump payment.

I switched to http://zeit.dedicatedpool.com, which is I think the second largest Zeit pool. Been mining on and off since the launch, they definitely pay out.

This error happens if you have mostly a typo somewhere. Check letter by letter all your settings.

After you updated the zeitcoin.conf - did you restart the wallet? Is the wallet fully synched?

Wow, some of you got at least a payment 3 hours ago. At least you got something. I got nothing - and should have received a payment about 6 hours ago. I do hope that the situation will be sorted out still. I did not give up hope yet.
