Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Nothing that special
I actually like it (a great alternative to "thebitcoinpage", with few categories that are missing on the other one).
- Bookmarked.

  • Is it just me or the search function is somehow broken?
  • You might want to remove the "meta section of your website" from the search page.

Oh. Didn't know that site existed.

Anyway, yeah. removed the search function for now as it currently serves no purpose. still in the process of working on the website at the moment. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice idea, it makes me think about Papaly. But your site is better since you're doing the job for me by adding the links Grin
Since you're focusing on multiple coins (I see ETH for example) It could be nice to have a dedicated page for the respective coin. Because if you are listing 10 coins related websites, it will become a mess

Yeap definitely. I'm sticking to Bitcoin and Ether only though. The last thing I would want to happen is some beginner to be lured into some scamcoin.

Thanks dude. Will increase the list for sure. If there's any suggestions you guys can give, suggest them here as I'm pretty sure I'm always going to forget some things to add.

A worthy addition (now add "profiles" for other categories as well Grin)...
  • Since it's some sort of profile, perhaps you should consider adding feedback/review & rating section in it (in a way that doesn't allow anyone to abuse it).

Jeez. I'd definitely have to think of that. That's A LOT of work. haha

hmm. I'd have to think of how I'm going to pull it off though. Thanks for this idea. I'd probably add a sort of star rating feature instead of a comment feature.

If you have such kind of website and work hard for it to have contents like it has right now. How do you monetize such website?

I don't think you will just make it that way and not make it generate at least for its hosting and domain renewal, creating such site does just go live without motivation. Will you one day ask for fee upon submitting links to it?

I definitely wouldn't add a fee for submitting links; that's going too far. What I'm thinking of is that I would look for sponsorships. I could add another square box at the top to contain the advertisement so the ad would look 'natural'(for a lack of a better word), and not too disruptive and annoying like most ads are.

Thanks! Well, I don't think faucets are really relevant now, but I might add a faucet section just for the sake of the list being sort of "complete".

Nice compilation! I like it btw  Grin. I checked all the list and get some suggestions.

Steam removed bitcoin as one of their payment method way back December last year, I guess you should remove it also in the compiled list.

Maybe you can add some of this below on the list
Communities & Forums - > Bitcoingarden
Bitcoin Tools -> Mnemonic Code Converter - https://iancoleman.github.io/bip39/ (https://iancoleman.io/bip39/)
Domain & Web Hosting -> hostinger.in
Gambling -> Crypto-games.net

Adding tags/tab for physical bitcoins or collectibles/collections? is also a good idea, you can add there like casascius and titan bitcoin.

Thanks kabayan for the suggestions  Grin. Will add them soon when I have time. I totally forgot that Steam stopped accepting bitcoin. *facepalm*

About a section for physical bitcoins though, I'll do some research. I thought most were out of business. Thanks again.

Just a suggestion maybe you can add like a highlight when someone selects a category to make it easier to find the selected list, good stuff anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is going to be tough though(for me, at least), but I agree that this is a great feature. I'm going to need to do some research on CSS to find a solution to this. Thanks.
