I told my parents that I am doing server, problem solved.
Hey - DPR apparently just told his folks he was doing "computer stuff" and they left him alone about it until the police & press raided his family's dwellings.

One miner from Venezuela claimed he converted his parents to understanding the significance of bitcoin when he converted some to PMs and fiat and shoved them into his father's hand. Exactly what I was going to suggest. You can't argue with cash.

Mine just keep telling me that I should cash out. They somewhat understand it, but they are under the impression that the U.S Gov will shut it down once they figure out they can't get their tax money off of it. I told them that I did cash out. At $2 per coin which would have made me a millionaire today.

How to convince your parents about Bitcoin? Each time when I mention about Bitcoin, they tell me its scam and don't buy it even when they have no idea what Bitcoin is. ARGGGGGGGGGG!! Same problem with many old people I don't think you can ever convince them so don't try to

Hello, there are many sites where you can get information about the BTC. In addition, if you tell them some positive arguments about it, maybe you could convince them.
