Which is better for hodl? ETC or NEO?

I find more application of Neo compared to ETC. I don't ever know,how and who can apply ETC protocol.
Neo is a competitor to ethereum and a lot of ICOs run on neo platform

I would say that NEO is definitely better for long-term holding because it works on PoS consensus algorithm, the more NEO you hold in your wallet, the more GAS you can get.

I believe that for the diversification of funds it is better to invest in both coins on a long-term or short-term basis. Now the market is at the stage of correction but soon it will start to grow.

Even if you want to diversify, you also have to consider the reason why you are investing in any of the coins. I still feel unless ETC developers come up with something substantial to make the ETC become useful, it will at the end just become a normal coin in the space with no serious usage.

For now, it is still living under the shadow of ETH with just very few community losing hope already anyway and for the fact that so many other smart contract platforms like NEO and the likes are coming up with a lot of ideas to make the smart contract platform competitive, ETC may have a hard chance unless it also does not remain stagnant in development.

I would invest in both ETC and Neo if I were you. Both coins are promising and have the potential to grow for sure. I notice that the price of the coin listed in coinbase usually increase by at least 20x or more. And Neo is the closest competitor to ETH IMO. Imagine Neo is just 20% as successful as ETH, the price will be much higher than now.

I think they are both good for hodl because they are both top altcoins in the market which i known for very affordable coins at this time and really promising in a better earnings. My advice if you want to make an investment with this two coin i suggest to both coins to buy for the future.

Honestly, I rather hold NEO than hodl ETC. My reason being that Neo is a Chinese coin and still had enough room for growth. Again, total coin supply favours Neo against ETC.

Both of them are very good coins. But which is better for 2 years later it's really hard to predict from now. Etc is the hard fork of eth and it runs smart contract and EVM on etc chain. And in other hand NEO is a platform based token. Both of them are very good to hold and have a great future. But somehow ETC is listed on conbase for last few months. And it's big now. So hold both and make a ratio of them. Cause Neo also have some really good upcoming project in its blockchain.

between etc and neo in my opinion it's better neo. Why ? because neo coins are more potential, he has his own exchange, a large community and the price is far above the price etc. I think neo is better than etc. that's my opinion.
