I don't think the spammers actually read the rules or care about actively trying to improve their post quality.

They tend to spam due to signature campaign requirements, so it might just be best to have an option to automatically mute anybody who has more than 50% of their posts in the bounty section. Seems harsh, but I bet it would work.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

It wouldn't. They would spam other sections even more to get below the 50% threshold.

Between spamming and trolling, which one better fits what OP is writing about?

In my opinion, spamming is relative. Relative in the sense that our judgement of what constitutes spamming is subjective. Besides, there are two types of posts on this forum. 1. Post for activity and 2. post for merit.

It will be absurd to think that all or rather every post should be that quality that could attract merit.

Your content can't acquire the real viewers of this kind of facts. Spammers are bounty hunters and those persons are just concern with the profit they will gain here, they're probably in altcoin discussions.

For some, it's a good idea to share and I really appreciate your topic but your target viewers are not here. I think you should post it to your local to "help first" your fellow citizen. Before we can start unity here in an international section you should be confident also that your local board is united even though we're having unity and cooperation through discussion but it should add a little more community building.

And I think they're not affected on this 'cause they don't really care in their local and specially to this kind of post. The way we can stop them is to report and have a daily check to all of the shitposters, I'm surely moderators will check and delete it if they're really shitposting in the forum.

I tried this a long time ago, sharing facts about the forum rules and the things we must not do but it end up nothing, some people appreciated and applied the things I shared but most of them stil spamming non-sense replies.

There is one thing that remains a question for me is whether they (spammers) know the definition spam post and forum spam. If there is a newbie who doesn't know what it means and lazy to read a pinned post, maybe they can understand this first:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forum_spam
It doesn't matter if they know what spam is or not. I'm pretty sure they do mind you. However, the users that are spamming for campaigns or what ever other motives they might have usually aren't the ones to care about the state of the forum. They care about getting paid or bumping their service to earn more money.
I just tried to positive think for them, I hope they can change a mindset against this forum not just how to get money but give a positive contribution. Regardless of their participation in the sig camp in order to make their lives better or indeed, they do not have a profession in real life. I don't blame them because this forum does provide a place for that. If they continue to hold on to their mindset, in the end, they get punished for being banned, bullied, and never get merit from anyone unless there is a transaction in a "dark room."

As we all can see, spamming is one of our problems here in this forum, that is why the moderators came up with a precaution called "MERIT SYSTEM",to encourage all of us to make quality post, but it seems that it is not that effective because for sure others are just ignoring this since they could still post and join bounty with their current ranks, BUT THAT IS NOT THE CASE HERE, SO HEAR ME OUT GUYS.

TO AVOID SPAMMING WE SHOULD HAVE:

1. UNITY and COOPERATION

- This is the number one thing that we should consider for us to avoid spam post or spamming this forum. We are all getting benefits here in this forum, so it is our responsibility to take care of this forum, we should stick to the rules that is given to us, we should obey and we don't need to be a hard headed member on this forum ignoring the important things and just keep on spamming.

2. to become AWARE
- before posting a certain topic, make sure to have a research first to know that the topic that you are going to post is not yet posted, because there is a lot of topics that has been created in different threads which are all related, for me that is spamming.

3. to be UPDATED

- it must be a routine for you to stay updated on what is happening in the forum, because if you are, I'm sure you do have a lot of knowledge that is worth to be share and not just inventing random things to post on a thread.

I consider that such a problem exists, but in general, it can be ignored. While moderators will not create the 100% criteria for determining spam nothing will change.
Moreover It is necessary to approve the practice of reporting repetitions in topics and flooding. I mean more often use a button "Report to moderator" and explain your opinion.

I really doubt that they will change their minds. They even found a way to exploit the merit system, so it means they wouldn't change a bit and they are getting bigger by the numbers. So its gonna be a ongoing battle and the funny thing is, if they got caught and banned, they will make a thread a Meta and play the innocent role and reason out that they don't know that its against the rule.. blah blah.. Do you really think that spammers would mind reading this thread? Or they may be so they will know what to do to hide their spamming activities and thanks to your idea.

They actually don't care about the forum primarily that is the reason why the management or any concerned users are using the hard way to prevent spamming this include (banning, nuking etc.) and gues what they will just create more accounts then try to bypass the current system like merits

4. Moving this thread to Guide Forum Users in the Sections Listed in number 3.

5. LOCKING this thread after moving it to avoid unnecessary replies such as " Thank you Sir, "Great/ Nice Thread it will definitely help the members!", "Well said.", and other single / 2-3 liners posts.

This forum allows people to earn from signature campaigns and bounties - consider that as a privilege and a gift. Abuse of them would only lead to downgrading of the user's trust and overall reputation here. We have other pay-per-post type forums out in the internet but they are just places of spamming where admins have a hard time dealing with shitposters. At least this forum is not like that except the Altcoins section and Bitcoin Discussion sections.

There is no transaction in this so-called "dark" thing. All merit transfers are seen by public members of the forum. So stop making such assumptions without evidence.

I know that's, though some of merit history was removed, we can still see it on https://bpip.org/.

dark isn't the real meaning then I add (" "), especially for merit transactions, as I have explained above.

"dark room" is just an allusion to describe some cases merit transactions such as:

1. Probably found merit seller (and he is an merit abuser).

2. Mr and Mrs Creampie Cumshot merit spitballing

3. Merit Farming

4. Alts exchanging merits

5. etc..

but if your opinion that's an assumption with real meaning, it doesn't matter to me. everyone has a different perspective

There’s no way to block specific addresses from sending you money at the moment. The good news is that it you shouldn’t be worried to much about it either. Just ignore these messages and in time spammers will hopefully find this less efficient. If this really annoys you, you can just archive your current Bitcoin address and use a new one that hopefully the spammers aren’t aware of.
