Did anyone else scratch, redeem, enter and win any of the "Home Run Challenge" cards?

I was successful on only one card, but hey.. better than nothing.

Any guesstimates on the value of something like this?

Guess for my player only 16? people guessed/picked correctly?
Or are there only 16 made per player?   I have no idea

Made a "mini-set" of the redeemed card, un-redeemed card, and the limited/winning card

That is very cool.  Cards limited to the numbers of winners.  If one really knew baseball and who their opponent was, you would do better than simply guessing.  Or, you could go against the odds and shoot for a 1/1.

Not sure of worth though.  People seem to like the rookies, stars and legends mostly.

Congratulations, MJ! I won on 4 HRC cards (out of a bazillion entries). One is a Mike Trout. I'll likely slap them up on eBay someday.

Can anyone give me a fair market value on the #259 Bomb Cyclone Glow-in-the-Dark Mini ( /25)? (It's on the bottom right in the photo below.) I'm thinking of dropping it on eBay.

(This is the only graded #259 Bomb Cyclone Glow-in-the-Dark Mini in the PSA pop report, so scoring a perfect 10 grade is extra cool.)

Was wondering how the line-up for these cards would go, if one was ranking them in order of value.


Lowest first:

Full size base
Base mini
A & G mini
Black border
Silver glossy
Full size all black x
Gold border
Black x mini
Nno
Brooklyn back
Glow in the dark
Red x mini


Does this sound about right?
Also, what would be the line up for the History-6?

FS  base - most numerous
FS Glossy - most sturdy of all card variants, long term I think we'll see easiest to grade 10
Base mini - somewhat numerous
FS black x - only placed higher than a mini as it has shown a hard grader
Ag mini - historical ad back card...first variation of minis, harder to pull than the above
Gold mini - lower than the below as this is the easiest card to farm as you buy packs explicitly knowing golds are within. Not plausible with bborders and due to the double wrapping - it's most well protected when opening - we'll see many 10s
Black border mini - sure, 1 out of 10 packs is a bborder... 1 out of 350 bborders is an 83 bborder - to me this makes it a harder to farm card, numerically speaking, the black border mini set has been the hardest (non-rare)to complete
X mini - due to difficulty in grading and scarcity.
Glow - only due to scarcity. More scarce than Brooklyn I bet but it's kinda gimicky
Nno - due to scarcity alone
Brooklyn - this variant a & g has a history of use, previously known as the bazooka back. Scarcity * history of popularity and known rarity=automatic value
Red mini-scarcity
1/1s

18 - only included cuz its a non human card. Still sport related.
204 -still sport related, but multiple audiences may like this card as it was a multi sport stadium
84 - honestly no eye appeal, but belongs in this set as a non human
222/259 equally, 222 more scarcely seen, but 259 much more eye appeal.
83

222, 259, 83... Blame Dolph & mantis box sets. These will forever be the holy trinity of non sport cards in this set. All 3 have more eye appeal than their cohorts. When I see any one of these, I think of the other two. I consider this the non human A set whereas 18, 204, 84 are the B set companion. Though admittedly 84 could jump into a set and I see the argument there as its truly non - sport related.

In any caee, value is up to the buyer.  

Forgot to add... I value the minis higher in general due to the history of tobacco sized cards & A&Gs history of use with them. To me the FS cards are the secondary product in the packs.

Where would you put the Glowie?   And, you feel the black border is of more value than the gold? It's a 1 in every 10 card, if I remember right...  And you put the Silver glossy just above the Base??? Wha....?

Will be interesting to see where others weigh in at....
