Heya Guys I finally made a little open case so I can start adding more cards to it.

I was running a Sapphire r9 280x in a standard case

and Now I got a new mobo H81M-Plus

with a celeron chip, and 2GB of RAM

and I bought another Sapphire 280x

I am running them both on pci-e powered risers on 1x  (Comp wouldnt boot with having one in the 16x on rise)

tl;dr Anyway I'm getting pretty low khash now... than I did before ( Was getting ~710Khash) on my single 280x in the rig before this

Im getting around 450 now on one card, and the other is staying as low as 2.4 khash/s  Shocked
Looking at it now it's on 0.0 khash :|

This is the kind of cgminer code i am using

export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
COLOR 0A
C:\Cgminer\cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://rbbt.weminecrypto.pw:3333 -u user.username -p password -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 11200 --shaders 2048 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale --auto-fan

Please, any ideas what's going on here?

Help is greatly appreciated and will be happy to donate some coinage

I am using 14.1 betas (as I did before)
Seems the drivers are crashing heaps now and cg miner is crashing too

Thanks I'll try that now Smiley

The weird thing is mining max on the other cgminer version seems fine - I get around 330 Mhash/s on each card @_@

I'm still getting the same problem with the new drivers.

They just crash and one card is getting like 700khash now and the other is on zero... :/

do you have a config file in the same directory as cgminer? It sounds like you have an OC set thats too high or something

Merkin,

Just for comparison and make sure nothing is wrong with the riser, card or your 1x slot, swap cards.

Put the one running 0 kh, in the place of the one running 700, if it works then try and add the good one to the riser, if it doesn't work, your looking at
1 bad riser
2 bad 1x slot
3 maybe not enough power to push um both.

A little problem trouble shooting, but at least it might help

No i'm not OCing at all I don't have the clocks in my config file.

One card is bunking out at 1.2KH/s and the other is doing fine...

its weird..

Do you think it could possibly be that I only have 2GB of ram on this Windows 7 64 bit platform?:

Seems im not using up all the ram though..

Thanks buD !
I'll try that.. now.
I just tried swapping around the pci-e riser before and that did't work. I'll try swapping the cards..
Also I have a 1000W PSU powering these 2 cards ..

I've heard ram is an issue with windows - I run linux so I can't say for sure, but you can put bamt on a usb drive and figure it out pretty fast

Really oh shit awesome Smiley

You know what though, I just put the 2 cards in 2 different slots ... and they're both working now D:

It seems if one of them was in the second slot another didn't want to work...

Anyway I should probably go buy another stick of ram now.

Now to boost the khash...
The one card always used to run just over 700 khash, they're both running around 650 now..
I guess I should try the ram thing first..

I just run 4 gig ram with 3 280s, no problem. Ram might help ya, but now you got it going, I figure if you play with the settings, you should bring the hash up toover 700 on both pretty easy.

Don't forget to under volt them bad boys, reduce heat and save ya some electricity Wink
