Do you know why market at poloniex is frozen?

I can just guess: The network hashrate is extremely low, just around 18kH. So almost nobody is mining it, which makes the blockchain unreliable and insecure.

We need some miners Smiley

I'm trying to bring up a node, but I can't get the blockchain from anywhere Sad. A new bootstrap.dat would be great.

Pretty sure it's a Vertcoin fork. This coin has been on polo forever, pretty sure from back when polo competed with coinedup for volume, and polo is remarkably loyal, I would say sometimes to a fault. I doubt it will survive the next round of reaping on polo tho. If it's not dead, it's on life support.

Next week I stopping to support network of this coin. So RIP Exe.  1/5 of the coin is frozen at poloniex, half of volume is stolen by craptsy, there is no way to stay alive.  Die Zombie.

I asked at poloniex how to get the market unfrozen, and this is what I got as reply:
Quote
We are waiting on an update by the developers.

I am sorry for not having a more precise answer and no timeframe.

Best regards,
Poloniex Support

So, where are the devs, still around?

I don't think so. Poloniex ask for support, but there is no support. So poloniex will be waiting for ethernity... Market will be closed /deleted soon....

Nothing, market keeps frozen!   Huh

Poloniex told me
Quote
There are no other services running the wallet; as such, we cannot determine whether network consensus was ever restored after an event that occurred many months ago. Due to this, we are not able to accept deposits.

I can't say anything regarding this "event". So it seems execoin is really dead.
