Attention everyone!

Execoin had a successfull launch and keep going well! But now we need more aggressive measures to make our coin more popular, reliable and secure.

We decided to open a fund for further Execoin development so everyone who willing to donate could do it.

Current schedule:

- Execoin needs p2pool, so we're ready to pay a bounty to somebody who can modify p2pool software for Execoin as soon as possible.
- Additional DNS seeders on domains, independent from developers (will be incorporated in code in future versions of the execoind, i. e. wallet) are required to protect distributed and independent nature of the network. We already have 3 seeders working in different regions, but they are on the single domain and we need more to provide fault tolerance.

Amounts will be determined later.

If somebody wants to do something without bounty - this will be considered as contribution.

Donations can be done to the following address: EZF3TXHFEwK58cjESPewcPHk9pZ5M6nDBF

Thank you for your support!

Donation sent.. good luck..  Smiley

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Sent exe. Definitely want to see this succeed. If I may make a suggestion along the lines of aggression, a more active twitter account (even if the posts aren't necessarily vital) will help stave off the appearance of stagnation. New people checking it out might be more inclined to get involved.

Attention everybody who mined on pool.execoin.net at our launch!

As you know, pool did not withstand mining at low difficulty with blocks being found every couple of seconds.
Unfortunately, we had shares count for last round only, so we took 50% of pool's wallet balance and divided them according to shares count for last round, and the remaining 50% we split evenly among miners who entered their payout addresses.

6381 EXE have been paid, please check your wallets.

If you received slightly more than expected, please consider it as a bounty for an early adoption of Execoin, if you think that you got less - please contact us.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Pool will reopen soon with 0% fee.

I think we should do something too! I will email some exchanges like poloniex and ask them to add execoin. If nobody will ask exchanges to add execoin it won't be added, developers can't do that without our support because exchanges looking at our votes first.

Hey people, let's email exchanges and ask them to add execoin!

I'm running on the p2pool node. Actual hashrate = 454kh/s.
It seems to be working, but maybe the difficulty i get is a little low (~7)?

I mean the share-difficulty, it is changing between 4-8. Maybe that is fine (i do not use p2pool so i have no reference), but it causes a lot of shares to be submitted to the node and i don't know what will happen to the traffic to the node when the pool grows to 100+ workers..

It should auto tune itself - if not one can use this formula:

YourWalletAddress+0.00046566

it's for ~400khs, it tells the p2pool what share difficulty it should send.

Edit:

diff adjustment is set to 2000 seconds atm

I know Wink
But not everone knows. If the difficulty adjustment is the same as for the vertcoin p2pool then it should be ok. Nice work!

Is it just me or do the GPUs have to work harder now? Seems like my cards are getting hotter than a couple of days ago at the same clock and intensity... Does that have to do with the n-factor?  Huh Or maybe there is something wrong with my cooling Tongue
Scrypt-N, or whatever it's called, uses a lot more vram, so it overheats a lot faster.
