Actually it's not on-chain game since the transaction occurs off-chain/on LN, only you and the casino who knows about the LN transaction.

I kinda like the idea but the OP is yet to clarify the withdrawal issues. But, if you check the site very well the withdrawal icon will only take you to a lightning invoice page and the whole features are yet to function properly. I believe the site is still in beta testing stage and the OP ought to have include that.

Actually if you read just a few post above, you will see how to make a deposit. The problem is that its off-chain, meaning its not the usual route we used to see in other online casinos. This topic deserves a bump I've been making many very small Bitcoin Lightning transactions to and from lightning-roulette, and I like it a lot! I haven't verified the provable fairness, the amounts used are too small to bother.
Small bets with many transactions are not possible with on-chain Bitcoin, and I can only encourage more people to try LN.

I've just tested it: for a 2 satoshi bet (on black), I deposited 4 sat, after which 2 sat shows up on my balance, the bet wins, and my total balance is 4 sat.
The excess amount is just not registered. I don't think it's pending on LN: the transaction went fine.

Yes there is no deposit button and I don't why there's a 10 in balance after the site loads after that I played the roulette because of the balance that I see which is 10 but I lose so I tried playing again without balance but after I select the play button it redirect me to this site https://lightning-roulette.com/deposit#5. With Lightning Network, there's no need to deposit a big amount first. It (usually) takes only a few seconds to deposit, so you can do that for each bet.
You can get a balance when you win.

Just found a discussion about this from another site that was discussing the lightning network. Played the 10 sat that they give you and lost.
Found the withdraw button easy enough, took me a bit to find that there was no deposit button, that you had to try to play the game with no money in your account before it gave you an invoice to load more. You might want to change that.

You also might want to bump this thread now and then since the last post was over 3 months ago so it was way back in the pages.

Yeah, I know lightning is just about instant. And it's quick to deposit and play, not debating that point.

But I just felt it was not intuitive.
Just my view....I have no BTC in my account so I am not going to hit the spin button. Usually if you try that it just pops up an error that you need to deposit not with a way to deposit.

Good point. I've lost all my Lighting coins there (luckily only small amounts) and I'm so used to it by now, but indeed, as a new user to a site it's not intuitive to just try to play without having a balance.

I had to check the date twice to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me but I am amazed that this casino actually was based on the LN back in 2018. From what I can see how many other LN casinos has there been? I can't think of any that are active till this day. And pretty sad that there is almost no adoption to LN in the gambling community.

Like I said in another thread, I think unless there is a major reason to use a LN to send transctions most will just send BTC transactions using 1sat/byte. Currently there is little to no need since the fees are relatively low and people don't want to take the time to learn how LN works or start a channel.

I think if lightning roulette was launched sometime in the future it might of been more active then it was for the last 2 years.

That is a good and the bad thing at the moment. We all like fast transactions and no need to deposit much in.advance but thus you can easily lose control so.you might put into game more than you've actually planned.
So I still prefere more traditional ways but everyone chooses for himself.

At the Star Casino on the Gold Coast & Brisbane they have electronic roulette where you can make a $30,000 bet on a single spin and I've often wondered what would they do if the roll (as LoyceV says) came up on E.G. Zero $1,080,000 AUD (Close enough to a Million I guess (which would mean they'd need $100M to cover a 1% bankroll as described above))

I was slightly disappointed when I could only withdraw once in 5 minutes. That goes against the "spirit" of LN.
