 Huh

We are modifying payout processor. For the next few weeks there will be periods of time when payouts will be sent less frequently.

FYI

Today we introduced email confirmation for changing payout address. This should further enhance the safety of your coins. When you change payout address it will stay "locked" until you unlock it using special code sent to your email address.

Nice improvement. Just experienced it. And one more thing I'm unable to find the option for "forget passord" or reset password options on log-in screens. Do we need to send support ticket to reset password...

i am mining VTC on the pool but hashrate shown on pool side is half of what miner is showing. I am using djm34 miner on Win7. There are still no mining calculators nor do i have any idea how much i should be earing so i can't see if its just how hashrate is calculated on the pool or i am loosing half the hashrate. Please can you help me with this & check out if there is an issue on the pool.

No idea how to change auto payout amount. The field is locked and I've tried using my Google Auth to enter in my 6 digit code into the One Time Password box to no avail.

I am not sure if you get a mail when 2FA is enabled but try checking your email for a mail with link to unlock the amount & address fields.

Very strange.
What miner are you using? Maybe your miner is producing a lot of HW errors ?
Can you provide me with screenshot of your miner window?

I am using djm34's ccminer for lyra2v2. Miner didn't show any errors but straight yay!!'s. I am no longer mining on the pool & it take atleast 3 hours to get the hashrate to show up correctly on coinotron so excuse me but no screenshots. I am getting perfect hashrate shown on givemecoins pool. Also with whattomine.com the returns i am getting on your pool were half of what i should be getting. According to that coinotron is indeed receiving only half of my hashrate. I hope this helps. Smiley

Maybe this can help as well. This is from thread for sp_'s ccminer.

EDIT: Also do read discussion on this page

http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=826901.4980

Wti h
Lyra2rev2:
750ti:  4750kh/s reported by ccminer rlz60
But only 2500 - 2700 reported by nicehash after some hours

Who's correct ? Smiley
--diff 2 (and no it isn't a good idea to make it as default... for reasons explained on vtc thread...)
(this is a never ending story)

Diff 2 explains perfectly why verters (and probably a couple of other pools) is so bad at finding blocks compared to the reported hashrate thrown at it. Verters is using diff 1 but accepts diff 2 shares as well while it shouldn't. Meaning that miners using -diff 2 have twice the reported hashrate and get paid twice as much at the expense of diff 1 miners.

Meanwhile I'd guess nicehash is both working with and require diff 2 by default to be in sync with ccminer.

So as usual, different pools use different configs and most of them doesn't understand the implications of their difficulty setting but change them anyway.

Which is why serious miners should always do some calculations based on nethashrate and difficulty to estimate how many coins they should be earning and compare that to what the different pools are paying. Or people could just always solomine to keep things simple.
