The idea behind the next poster is that Bitcoin is much more empowering than a centralized currency.
"Bitcoin puts the power of currency back into the hands of the people" or something along those lines.
Any suggestions for that phrase?

Something like "Your own, private, portable Fort Knocks" maybe? Or just "Be your own bank," or "The convenience of your bank, right at home"

"Be your own bank"
I like that one!

I'm taking a vow, starting right now, to not plagiarize ideas that were suggested two posts before me.

I suggested you could add some tear off strips on the bottom with a url on them and stick them to power poles and community noticeboards.

Even better some sticky tape with bitcoin logos on to attach them with Smiley

฿itcoin: Currency of Resistance!

The "privacy from governments & banks" bit will probably alienate a hundred times as many people as it would attract.

I think it's the other way around.  It will attract many more people than it will turn off.  The people that need external
agencies to hold their hand for them will come to it later when everyone else does and it doesn't look so scary for
them anymore.

Maybe something like "No hastle from dealing with governments and banks" but better worded? People likely care much more about not having to deal with days of waiting, transfer limits, and slew of other regulations, rather than keeping their transactions private.
The idea behind the next poster is that Bitcoin is much more empowering than a centralized currency.
"Bitcoin puts the power of currency back into the hands of the people" or something along those lines.
Any suggestions for that phrase?

That's precisely how I see Bitcoin!

"Bitcoin: Bringing back the money power to people!"

"Bitcoin: Currency of Resistance"

Cheers!

I guess noone has any actual useful ideas here to promote bitcoin. I am working on the copy for a flyer, but I have no art skills.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.
