Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

How about the Bitcoin Foundation do something about the Gox situation?!?

Instead of worrying about what goes on in the US?!?  It's all the foundation seems to do!

Being from WV, Manchin has bigger things to worry about than Bitcoin. On the other side of that hand, if the US is pressing forward with investigations, doesn't that lend more legitimacy to Bitcoin being a solid currency?

Will the US make a play to try to institutionalize BTC is some way to be a currency along with the Dollar? If so, what are the implications to the other cryptos like Litecoin, Feathercoin, etc...? Could it be akin to a metals market? Bitcoin is gold, Litecoin is silver and the various other alts being the other metals?
