Actually it's not dying it's just fluctuating the whole market had been in a bearish trend for a several weeks now. Dont listen to people who are saying dont buy because they are saying this out of the fear of missing as the ETH is already too much down in its value. The current value does tells us that ETH is messing up many things but always remember that ETH has been here since the first time and its platform is very important to the crypto community and smooth working of the ICO's etc. So it will be modified soon for better future and thus then you will see its price rising heavily.

Do your own research and take decision y yourself because most of the people here were just completing their minimum quota to get paid.

obviously yes, bear season is the season for dumping, meaning all coins and tokens in the markets are in the reds/dips, i cannot say when it will stop but i know for sure that this is the right season to invest/buy ethereum, dont worry about the fall, eth is not dying, because it is the second altcoins that has a huge demand every moment.

I understand what you are implying to about bear market but OP on the contrary of your thoughts bear market is the best time to buy coins this is the time every trader wants buy at dip and hodl, what do you else wait before you decide to buy? buy at bull run? of course no buy before the bull run start.

You can invest in eth because eth will reach the point of exceeding the price as at the end of 2017. But my advice is not all the capital you have you use it all, "don't store eggs in one basket"

ETH is not dying but it is not going to go up either. for the time being it is on a strong downtrend and as you can see today it started going back down again. which means you should not think about investing in it for as long as this dump is happening which may take a couple of more months.

unlike most others I am not going to tell you whether to buy ETH or not, instead I am going to try to help you learn how to make that decision on your own.

first question that you need to answer is what your trading strategy is?
there are two ways you can do it. one is short term and another is long term. based on this the approach can be different. for instance in a short term trading strategy you can still buy anything including ETH even if the price is falling. because even during a fall, price can recover and rise a little and that is what you want, a small rise to sell after and make profit on your money. a longer term strategy requires buying in the dip but only if you think a reversal is going to happen not just a dead cat bounce. which brings us to the second point.

second where do you actually see ETH in short and long term. do you think the drop has ended? or is it just on the down and having a small recovery. for the first case if you think it has actually ended and think $300 is the bottom of it then you should make sure to buy but if you think $300 is just another price on the way to a much lower price then you should never buy. instead you should wait for that lower price like $50 to be reached first before you start buying it.

for this you need to analyze the coin. for example look at its supply and the demand that exists for that supply. how well do you think that is designed? hint: ETH has 101 million coins in circulation and the demand is pure speculative.
