be carefull, by Googling *something* most of all [ann] and [bounty] you risk to get redirected to this Phishing site ->
I will not put the direct link to be safe but see the picture, is a very similar link, only instead of .org is .to

Thanks for the warning. I search google from time to time when I want to check older bitcointalk.org posts, but I always use site:bitcointalk.org + search term, thus avoiding the (dot) to site. Newbies may use something like bitcointalk + search term which may bring search results from the phishing site.

Isn't there a way to report this (dot) to site to google? I've seen google delisting well established sites due to copyright (DMCA) infringements. Phishing is much worse than that. How come Google keeps tolerating these scammers in their index?

well, "anyone" can register a .to site, doday is .to, tomorrow the pishing site could be on some other domain, the focus is to be very very careful, cause there are seconds between keping safe & loosing your privete keys

There is a member here who recently had his account hacked and and a bunch of his sMerit given away.   The most likely scenario is that he was lead to one of these phishing sites and entered his login and password.  I don't know if you're likely to lose your private keys that way, but you certainly can lose your Bitcointalk.org account to hackers.

Stay safe.

Thank you for sharing, this is worrying.
I always avoid searching directly from Google, and I have bookmarked important urls. This may be a safe way to prevent your account from being hacked.

This's another phishing list:
Code:
bitcointalk.[to]
bitcointalk.[net]
bitcointa[ll]k.[org]
bitcointa[I]k.[org]

In meta section we have talked about this several times however good to see that people are doing their own research. I left some more above for your help @OP

Be careful and stay away from those sites. They will steal your credentials once they will have their chances.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

It's probably have been mentioned a million times but the easiest way is to redirect these phishing sites to localhost 127.0.0.1

Code:
127.0.0.1 bitcointalk.[to]
127.0.0.1 bitcointalk.[net]
127.0.0.1 bitcointa[ll]k.[org]
127.0.0.1 bitcointa[I]k.[org]

*remove brackets

To access localhost you need to open/edit and save this file:
Code:
C:\Windows\system32\Drivers\etc\hosts

Great advice! But is it possible to do it somehow on smartphone? Despite that I know these phishing websites very well, risk to visit it accidentally still remains...

I was one of the naive ones who unfortunately was a victim of phishing through bitcointalk.to, and on that occasion they only entered my account to steal me 73 merit points to distribute them, I suppose, among the alt accounts of a Russian scammer. This was my case:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3058574.msg31503519#msg31503519

And although my complaint was never taken seriously because of how difficult it is to provide evidence that an abuse has been suffered, I would like to take the opportunity to again accuse the alt accounts that received my stolen merit points:

In an unrooted phone? No.

But if you are rooted, you can use something like dns66 to block it with the hosts file.
