Because the crypto currency will destroy the entire economy of the planet. Crypto currency is a way to make money only for ordinary people, but not for the government. Who wants to go to work for a factory or office, usually to earn money and give some of this money to the state in the form of taxes? If you can sit at home, in a comfortable for you conditions, sell and buy a crypto currency. And you do not have to share with anyone, even with the state!

I think it's because despite that not being the intention, cryptos inherently take power away from the government, by being decentralized and giving financial power back to people, by definition cryptos are revolutionary, because they would change the status quo of financial societies between institutions and people, giving many more options and freedom to the ordinary citizen.

I think why many countries and governments banning and don't like crypto is just because they think that it is a scam and also they afraid to used this crypto as a main currency because it is not stable so that they afraid to use it and they hate it.
