This beats the hell out of burning people and contributing to more atmospheric pollution, or even worse pumping people with all sorts of preserving chemicals that are horrible for the environment. Only humans could mess up something as simple as dying.

How many people are working on the team currently full time?

After full launch how many do you expect to need?

That's a good question.

I imagine it would depend a lot on how successful the ICO is.

Does this team have experience with this kind of work?

Diana Cunningham has been a grief counselor, and Michael Murphy has completed large real estate projects. Neither has managed a cemetery before, which is why they will start with one and get all the systems in place before opening more.

So would this include the costs of the land needed?

Yes, the budget includes the land, infrastructure, legal, and marketing to open the first three cemeteries.

I saw this video and immediately thought of you guys!  http://t.ted.com/z2SS9Rm

If you don't have time to watch I will break it down real quick.

Basically, she wants to use a mushroom burial suit to help decompose bodies in a more environmentally friendly way since the mushrooms are capable of breaking down a lot of the environmental toxins we accumulate throughout our lives.

Yes, the mushroom suit is catching on and will be one of the alternatives for a shroud or biodegradable casket in our cemeteries.

This project is amazing. I am sure if you launched in 2017 you would've raised $50M-100M ICO! I'll be following this, also going to refer it to some friends.

A lot of people have heard about crypto in the past year but people are scared to jump into buying since the crash, even though this is the best time for them to buy in. I definitely think we are bottoming out…. Anyways, great project, makes me excited for crypto again. I'll be a token buyer.

Great, thank you! We've designed the coin to have an intrinsic value that increases over time, matching the increasing cost of burials.

At this point I'm only wondering how much the whole process would cost?

The cost of a conventional burial averages $7,000 but can easily escalate to $15,000 or more. Total cremation costs average $6,000. A green burial costs $5,000 today, but we will provide one now or at any time in the future, regardless of how high the cash cost goes, for 4,000 TransitionCoins. They will cost $4,000 in the sale (with a 10% discount if someone buys enough to cover two or more burials). They cost only $2,800 in the presale. We've modeled this out and can provide the service at that price on a permanent basis.

Two full time now. We'll use a very experienced real estate lawyer and a land use consultant to acquire the land and get the cemetery permits. There will be a full-time manager on each cemetery, with accounting, legal, marketing etc handled by the home office.

I can't imagine how much money has been raised in ICOs in total.

How much have you guys raised so far?

We are taking indications of interest at https://transitiongreenburials.com/buy-transitioncoins-in-the-pre-sale/ and have not started the KYC/AML and accredited investor checks yet.

Do you think in your big marketing campaign after launch you will target more traditional advertising mediums? Billboards in NYC, radio ads, TV, etc.?

Outstanding concept and tokenomics. It's a reminder of BNB ICO for me. That one was also announced on Bitcointalk and has a huge return.

TransitionCoin's project brings simplicity in product design, business model, and mission while offering stratospheric potential for its tokenbuyers.

Please keep it up. Subscribed. I wish last year's ICOs were like this one...

KYC is required for all token buyers?

You write that green burial works for 20 years, but this is the first time I hear about it . If so, where are these graves ?

We will start with radio and TV interview shows (first big one lined up), be guests on podcasts, and sponsor NPR stations in the cemeteries' areas.

Is this a legal requirement for ICOs now?

Our lawyer said during the presale process and for later direct transactions between us and the first buyer, KYC keeps us out of trouble. For later sales on exchanges between private parties, no KYC and problem.
