That time sink Novo changed names but its not the reason why Gulden has underperformed, the development is fast enough, what is needed is more accessibility for users to buy Gulden. When updates come more people are able to buy. Bitvavo is a good first step to bring Gulden to a wider audience.

Novo was not a time sink, the price of Gulden was too low to support development. In hindsight they could of did what they doing now with the Gulden rewards and things will be ok but it's fate and without Novo the community would not of thought about the reward changes for Gulden in my opinion.

You were in the slack chats and Novo got all the reward changes which Gulden is getting. Novo is also good as a beta test for changes to Gulden. A live testing blockchain.

It will take 2 or 3 months after the reward change for the market to adjust to the new reality. You will notice with bitcoin that the price doesn't jump straight after the reward halving but takes 3 - 6 months. Traders will try to collect as much of the pre halving rate value as possible, until the upward pressure can no longer be denied. My prediction is 2-3 months of these prices with range of 50-75% in dips and jumps.

After doing my own research I am going to start buying 1000 Euro a month and see where this goes. Impressed we have a coin this advanced for the Netherlands.

Gulden is different, it has decentralized funding and a decentralized approach, whoever buys Gulden from blockhut is funding the coins development. The gulden production of the dev reward is centralized.

With other coins like syscoin the creators take responsibility for development,  marketing, exchange listings, conferences, partnerships etc. With Gulden the community takes on that responsibility except for development.

It's the reason why the coins marketcap is lower compared to the competition but also the reason the coin has survived since 2014 where many have failed.

It's also the reason I never invested in Novo because it doesn't have enough supply to get the community needed to push the coin forward. With a low supply coin the creators have to do all the work and I know this from a past experience.

Depends on the traders, dumping followed by an eventual and steady move up as the supply gets removed at these low prices is a plausible outcome.

Maybe they can get to the alle time high of 40 eurocent again.  Looks pumpy now. 

If that may happen it is a cheap buy at 2 euro cent.  What do you think?
