So I went to check the status of this coin and see bittrex de-listed it, and ironically inkway now has a message up confirming they created the coin

http://www.inkwayusa.com

Seems like a missed opportunity.

yes, in our opinion they have been completely insane - spending all that money on getting the coin created + promotion-fee on bittrex etc... only to do nothing?

Did they expect the coin to do magic on its own or what?

Forgive me for my ignorance, I've been out of the loop. Is this coin on any other exchanges? or is just dead?

Looks like Inkway took the ICO funds and fled. Typical of many crypto ICOs, but not so typical of a publicly traded company.
Might be worth filing some complaints.

This whole thing is a scam at it's worst. Read the companies financials, listen to their weekly joke talks. Looks like the only thing they do is take peoples money and make pie in the sky claims. Best to stay away and don't waste your money.

Any updates on this? How much was lost in terms of invested BTC and who holds it?

All we know is that after the Vice President of the company Tore Eikeland cashed out the BTC, the market crashed and after that they became very quiet, and has been avoiding us.

The CEO of the company, Lenny Greene is supposed to come up with a hedge-offer, but he is delaying and delaying - let me show you some screenshots to give you an idea of how things are in this coin right now:

This is the kind of communication we have been dealing with... like a circle of nothing.

How much money was lost here? I lost some money trading it, but can imagine people that bought at ICO price are fuming of anger.

Hard to say how much money was lost in this, most of the coins was unsold and unmoved.

It is almost like the company died.

Yea old lenny sure has screwed people over with the help of a few of his minions. Can't believe a thing that comes out of their mouths.

Looks like from the Q released today he never had the inventory to back the claims. Time for a Lawyer to look into this scam artist.

I would say that anyone who bought this thing should sue the company. They issued a press release that said it was backed by 1.5 million dollars in ink but the 10Q shows they never had that in inventory. Call the California Attorney Generals office.

The InkWayCoin LKNX is InkWay USA’s induction into the expanding
cryptocurrency/cryptocommodity market, directly backed up by $1.5 million worth of InkWay
USA premium quality ink, one of the world’s most expensive and sought after commodities.
InkWay USA’s ink in the cryptocurrency/cryptocommodity market supports the market value of
LKNX much like the way gold and other precious metals back up the world’s currencies. Every
LKNX coin will be worth X milliliters of InkWay USA ink as determined by current crypto
market rates. InkWay USA is offering a limited circulation of 10,500,000 LKNX coins as a oneof-
a-kind ICO within this point-of-sale (PoS) network. The total amount of LKNX coins
represent the total amount of ink produced by InkWay USA for this initiative that is produced, is
currently in storage, and is ready to be delivered in bulk.
