They are accurate, and becoming even more precise as we add additional exchanges to calculate volume-weighted average. Now, for example, LTC/BTC rate is being calculated across 11 exchanges every 30 seconds

We have just developed quite handy feature - permalink to cryptocurrency calculation result.

HOW IT WORKS

Say, you want to know how much DOGE 12.4 LTC are.

1. You make conversion on the main page and get a result of 275898.6801115368 DOGE
2. Below results you can see a permalink which redirects you to http://www.cryptonator.com/rates/LTC-DOGE/12.4

So this link http://www.cryptonator.com/rates/LTC-DOGE/12.4 will be always showing you actual amount of 12.4 LTC in DOGE. Once rate is changed, amount will be adjusted accordingly.

This site I have has a currency conversion table pop-up to convert any currency to any currency 300+ coins, I had managed to gather 75 or so API's from many different sources which had taken me a week, I had at least 2-3 weeks work on the rest 225 coins, I came home from the mall this afternoon checked the threads on bitcointalk stumbled on to your post, checked your website saw the API page, got excited moved to my development computer, created a While Loop which took me 2 minutes and just like magic I had 300 coins on the conversion table updated on the database you saved me weeks of work, I want to credit your site on my conversion table on my shopping site and put a link there to your site. I put sleep(1); on each loop and will be updating every 10 min or so if thats okay with you, also I want to send you couple of hundred Marinecoins as a thank you gift.

and that's what I'd like to make use of. But given that almost every exchange got hacked and/or lost ppl's coins I'd like to know at least who is in charge before giving him my coins.

this is when you ask some trusted third party(i.e. independent) service to verify your identity and make it public. Check bottom left corner of the cryptsy website for live example.

I'm now digging on zcash recently and get about 0.05 ZEC.
The price ZEC to USD when I'm typing is about $243.
In my "Balance" section it says 0.05011037 ZEC is equal 12.10 USD.
But when I put in exchage it says 1 ZEC = 230.5632 USD and I get only 11.55360726 USD?
Please clearify this?

I've used cryptonator for awhile and never had an issue before. However, I sent over 1,000 doge to my account wallet and it has now been TWO F@$&ING WEEKS and I NEVER even got so much as a "pending" from Cryptonator.

Opened a ticket on day 1. Opened another 3 days later. Then another a week after that. Then another yesterday.

NEVER RECEIVED A SINGLE REPLY FROM SUPPORT, EVEN AFTER GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND BY POSTING TO THEM ON TWITTER. NO RESPONSE AT ALL. NOT ONE.

This is insane. Something is very, very crooked going on here and others seem to be having similar issues and they all seem to be within the last month. I'd bet that they've decided to bail on their website and instead of one big massive heist that might end up making some news articles, theyre slowly skimming off the top from everyone a little at a time until they can shutdown and make it seem like a legitimate decision.

TO ANYONE WONDERING IF THEY SHOULD DEPOSIT TO CRYPTONATOR: DONT DO IT.

Even if you used them for a long time, have made numerous plentiful deposits and never had any issue, that still means nothing as I too went a very long time with no issues at all from them until one day an entire deposit magically disappeared and support went completely silent for weeks with no indication of ever responding.
