Worker speeds are currently being reported inaccurate (too high) due to some changes to the database.  The script that logs speeds every 2 minutes didn't execute for about 15 minutes.  As a result, your speed is including an extra ~15 minutes worth of shares.  It should clear up once the old data is expired.

UPDATE:  Worker speed history was cleared out to avoid the inaccurate reporting.  Speeds will show 0 MH/s for a few minutes.  Expect speeds to vary a bit for the next 20 minutes due to variance/luck in submitting shares.

Have you heard from Friedcat? i saw that he was in touch with canary and he is starting another group buy. Roll Eyes

Some new units are being ordered, yes.  Store should be open (US Only until I catch up, I'm very sorry international users) later in the week once I get a tracking #.

Awesome! i have two BTC and a little change, i hope i have enough to get two. I hope i can get gold ones. i'd love to differentiate my asics by the ones being bought with BTCs being Gold vs the other colors i picked up on eBay.

Payments are temporarily paused.  Something happened last night and somebody was paid a lot more than they should have been.  All failed payouts will be resent once funds are transferred back to the hot wallet and I find out what happened.
Thanks for update, do you have a timeframe on fixing the situation?

Broken payouts (bad txid) have been removed from payout history.  I've manually issued two automatic payout runs (one for large and one for small).

I'm expecting manual payouts and automatic payouts to resume normally within the next 2 hours.

Hello,

Thanks for the awesome pool.  I love the PPLNS option.

I'm still not able to do a manual payout.  Is the maintenance still going on?

Thank you,

Yes, Manual payouts are still disabled at this time.  An update now that I've had a day to work on it:

Yesterday, a significant number of coins were stolen from the pool.  The exact method this was done is not yet known.  Most of my time yesterday was spent doing a full audit on all SQL queries and RPC calls.  No immediate issues were apparent, so a full rewrite was done on significant amounts of code, including a full overhaul on frontend interface with the backend.  The frontend is no longer responsible for any payout calls, nor is it capable of editing/deleting/inserting information into the database related to earnings or payouts.  Additionally, the frontend is no longer capable of making RPC calls to the backend at all.

This is why manual payouts are still currently disabled.  At this time, the frontend is not capable of making modifications to payouts, or sending payouts.  I'm working on a new process to get manual payouts working again soon.  It's currently a 2nd priority, as I'm falling very far behind on packing & testing of erupters.  Going to be spending the first half of today getting 1/3 of the units shipped, while I think about all the double checks, sanity checks, etc., that will be needed in order to restore manual payouts in the new system.

Ditto those sentiments here.  I'd rather you spent the time finding out what happened rather than worrying about shipping me a couple of BEs.  So, can you audit your administrative logins?  I presume manual payouts are all logged - possibly a back door into your admin login?  That's how they hit Slush, but I'm sure that's just one of many things you've checked - probably 1/2 dozen times already....

if there is anything at all I can do to help - just say the word.

I too am very sorry to hear about this!

However, I find myself thinking "Pack eleuthria Pack! Ship eleuthria Ship!" Cannot help it! I'm excited to get the new hardware..   Grin

I hope your security measures are enough to thwart a re-occurrence until you can figure out what happened..

I'm splitting my time efficiently.  Working on shipping gives me time to think about additional precautions and sanity checks like I posted earlier.

Shipping Update:  I've done ~40 packages so far, and expect to get quite a few more done before they ship out.  Please note that the Shipping Queue is an absolute number, increasing by 1 per order.  Most orders in the queue beyond 100 are going to go MUCH faster.  The earliest orders contained large quantities per order, while later orders tended to be much smaller in size.

I do my most creative programming and engineering problem solving while doing mundane tasks...  Cannot even begin to list the number of times a eureka moment hit while mowing the lawn!...  Only problem is by the time I get done with the task, I don't always remember the solution I came up with... Mowing 3 acres takes a while....

Carry a pad and pencil around.. Have one  of those moments, stop make a note, and continue. I myself will forget even the simplest thing unless I actually write/type it down somewhere.

A huge number of packages are being shipped out today.  Check your order status to see if yours was included (it will have a tracking #).  If not, at the very least your shipping queue position should have decreased significantly.  Expecting even more to go out tomorrow, and all but the most recent orders by Thursday (300 units not expected to arrive until Friday).

Now working on finishing the updated Manual Payout code, which should go live within the next few hours.

Manual Payouts have been restored, but not yet to their full former functionality.  At this time manual payouts are literally manual (well, manually initiated), before I integrate it into an automatically recurring script.  I will be running them many times per day, but your best bet for a quick payout at this time would be setting automatic payouts.  If you want most of your balance, just set the threshold to your current rewards, rounded down to the nearest 0.01.  Automatic payouts run at X:07 and X:37 each hour, depending on the amount you're requesting.

Part of the reason for not rapidly restoring manual payout functionality is to encourage users to setup automatic payouts.  Automatic payouts prevent BTC Guild from becoming a "bank", and limits the exposure of funds to hacks/compromises by allowing the pool to keep a smaller hot wallet online to respond to on demand withdrawals.

EDIT:

Looks like Eleuthria worked overtime packing and shipping....   Mine shipped today!

Post office pickup came early today.  Still quite a few packages pushed out (~100 again).  No headaches or distractions today, so I'm hopeful that most (if not all) in stock orders should be shipped tomorrow.

UPDATE:  Pre-packed almost every remaining order this evening.  I have ~200 units left to test & pack, which should be covered before USPS pickup.  This will clear all in stock/waiting to ship orders, at which point it's a matter of waiting for the next shipment to arrive to begin clearing out additional backorders.

All units that are not marked as "Backordered - Waiting for New Inventory" have been packed/shipped as of today.  Some did not get out before the end of the day due to USPS showing up early for once (noon instead of 5 PM).  Those orders will go out tomorrow (or today, technically).

Units marked Backordered - Waiting for New Inventory, should begin shipping out Monday.  New inventory is set to arrive tomorrow which should cover all orders currently in queue.  Another shipment has already been ordered as well, which will hopefully cover all orders placed in the next week, plus 200-300 extra units to cover new orders with a 24-hour turnaround time on shipping.
