Pictures of mine would be boring - they're ALL BLACK - every stinking one of the 58 of them are BLACK...

OK - so I'm going to order some more.  Be warned!  If they come in and they're all black, I'm going to track down where eleuthria lives and throw them at the front door of his house one at a time, little plastic cases and all....

Not at all, the luck stats are purely cosmetic.  Luck is always disabled at the start of a new difficulty (sometimes a little before if it will go up while I'm asleep), since it can't be accurately* measured until a shift that started at the new difficulty has fully matured [closed].  It will resume being displayed when Shift #10116 is closed.

* It can be accurately measured, but I don't actually log the luck per shift.  It's simply calculated live when the page is viewed using current BTC difficulty, and a hand-edited Shift # to use as the first shift at that difficulty.  It would take a lot more work and some extra behind the scenes database logging to actually provide historical luck and not get confused by new difficulties.

Can't complain about the difficulty change too much at this point.  This is some of the best luck that I've seen:

Average luck this difficulty is 184.43%.

Don't forget the units shipping currently are either Silver or Blue.  Both elusive colors not previously offered by BTC Guild Smiley.  Gotta catch 'em all!

Oh god, I've wanted silver so bad!  But I just can't do ten more.  I'm an Anker (and clone) guy and had great luck with them up until recently.  Now I've had a power brick failure and the last three hubs haven't been able to do 9 or 10 Erupters.  Calling it quits at 70.

But now I have a new addiction, lol.  I'm on my sixth Blade and also just received two Bitfury boards with 4 more coming in October.  BE USBs are a gateway drug people.  Beware!   Grin

BLUE!!!!! aaaahhhhh!!!!! Not Fair!!!!

Let me know if ya have Blue!

That's the hook - if you order 10, you'll probably get at least one blue one......

Nah. If you order 10, you get a box of the same color.  Which is nice if you're color coordinating a 10 port hub.  Hehe.

Lol, I only have one hub that isn't a single color.  And I hate it so much.  I want to hide it somewhere.  Silly, I know.  But there's nothing logical about these little gems.  But I guess the same thing could be said about this whole ASIC scene.  But it's so freaking entertaining that I hardly care about ROI.

The power bricks that ship with the Ankers are hit-or-miss and go bad pretty often. They're easily replaced though. You can get a compatible replacement that goes up to 6amp and can fully handle all ports filled with power to spare for only $8.99 from Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VE7GQQ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000VE7GQQ&linkCode=as2&tag=jedislair-20

I had to replace 3 power bricks so far for my Ankers/AITechs and the replacements are now the most stable hubs in my setup.

I've been told Anker is very good with honoring the warranty when it comes to failed power supplies.

Yeah, but why get a replacement under warranty plus shipping that's just as bad as the original PSU when you can get a stable, cooler running power brick with overhead to spare for less than $10 each with free quick shipping from Amazon.

The hubs themselves are pretty high quality units. Wish they didn't pair them with rubbish PSU's.

Great!  Thanks for the link.  And they're Amazon Prime too.  Smiley

eleuthria, why during the shifts in last several days, I get 20% lower submitted shares in PPLNS stats, but the chart showed almost constant hash rate?

If the pool speed is higher, you will have fewer shares per shift (shifts are based on total shares submitted to the pool, not a specific time limit).  The N value generally increases when shifts get too fast, so once in a while you'll notice you start submitting far more shares per shift, and then it will likely slowly decrease as the pool continues to grow.

I see they added basically unlimited USB Erupter "coupons" on the store. I noticed that the shipped price for the coupon units is a whopping .01 btc less than the regular price units. LOL

I guess a .01 saved is a .01 earned...

The shipping price on coupons is for the entire order, not per unit.  So yes, if you only use 1 coupon, it's only saving 0.01 BTC.  But each unit ordered after that doesn't add to shipping cost.
