I used two antminer getting ave 390mh/s..getting 0.1 to 0.09 BTC per day..

When?

My 23Ghs was getting .005 and is now down to about .0033 BTC.  So are you talking about recently or several Difficulty changes ago?

Pretty sure he meant GHs not MHs.

oops yup Ghs...confused with my litecoin rig..

I thought I could get around 0.17btc per day with 750gh/s based on profit calculation..but no where near 0.17..I will wait few more days and see how it goes..

what am I doing wrong? or is this normal?

I used two antminer getting ave 390mh/s..getting 0.1 to 0.09 BTC per day..

I added extra two, avg is 750mh/s..now it shows 0.06 24hr earning..why is smaller earning after I added 2 more rigs?

Bad pool luck of late.

All you have to do is click on PPLNS and see the graph at the bottom of all the shifts as well as the 1 day, 3 day, 1 week.... percentages.  We've had very bad luck at finding blocks the last couple of days.  If you just joined, yes it sucks but it's not just you.  The whole guild (except for those few on PPS) is under the same dark spell, and since we're 25% of the network we have a considerable influence on the next difficulty level.  Just hang tight and eventually the average will approach close to normal.

May not want to click on PPLNS right away unless you want to see zero blocks found for shift 14494   Shocked

Can only get better from here Grin

14494 is the msot recently completed shift.  The most recently completed shift will always start with 0 blocks.  That number increases for hours (as noted by the giant bold text right above it).

Could be worse.  Your 24 hour earnings is just low.  Mine is negative.

You should mine at multiple pools to reduce your variance Wink

I just looked to see what you were talking about, too funny. I suspect that guy is a user that a pool can do with out.

So cute when people who have no clue how PPLNS works try to make arguments about it.  I like that he was hiding in another thread.  I still don't understand how it's so hard of a concept to grasp:

1) Shares get bundled into shifts.
2) Blocks get found.
3) Blocks get applied to the most recent group of shifts.

The actual length of a shift is arbitrary.  Longer shifts only reduce the expected variance, so instead of being 30-170%, they're 50-150% (example fake numbers, do not use as fact).  You lose out on the extreme highs, and you gain by not having extreme lows per shift, but in the end, it all comes down to your mining speed for the last 24 hours and how many blocks the pool solved.

At the risk of sounding stupid, can someone explain the the pool luck chart to me.  I understand luck neutral is 100%; however, if the line is at say, 134%, what does that mean exactly (or if the line is at 4%, for that matter).  Thanks for any help!

I expect he means because the pool luck has been bad these last 24 hours, the people on PPS have swallowed the profit.

Maybe I should switch to PPS with my massive 600 Mh/s and swallow some myself heh

On the graph, it's the luck per shift.  So each shift gets paid X amount for its time.  At 100%, it paid exactly what you'd expect.  That will obviously never happen (or at least almost never happen) since shifts aren't based on blocks found but shares submitted, so it's always going to be at least a little +/- from 100% for a given shift.

This percent is equivalent to how much you made above or below expectation.  So if you plug your hash rate into a mining calculator, it will spit out your expected earnings for a day/week/month.  Subtract the pool fee (3%) from that for your expected earnings on BTC Guild at your hash rate.  If a shift were at 100%, it'd be exactly the same as that calculation (maybe +/- a few satoshis from rounding).  Otherwise, the % shown is basically the % of that expectation.  If it's 134%, you made 34% more than what your speed is expected to make.  If it's 63%, you made 63% of what you would expect to make.

No date was ever given for DVC/IXC, only that they would come *after* the new backend and after Scrypt Guild.  Unfortunately, the new backend took much longer than expected (illness + bugs), and was eventually scrapped entirely.  As a result, Scrypt Guild is also pushed back further.

IXC and DVC are *completely* worthless.  If BTC Guild adds them, they'll just become twice as hard to mine from difficulty, and go even further down in value since you'll have a whole lot of new people selling them to the highest bid on the books.  Right now they add less than 0.2%.  If their difficulty was increased by BTC Guild's hash rate, it would be less than 0.1%, not counting the drop in value guaranteed to follow the rise in difficulty.

This isn't saying they won't be added, just that they have always been near the bottom of the list of things to add/consider adding.

Scrypt Guild ?

Ok, so I obviously missed something but do / did I smell a LTC pool on the horizon ?
