As the title says, you can now try the awesome Verso Wallet app - available on iOS and Android - without having to buy a Verso Card first.
The combination of the Verso Card and the Verso Wallet gives you the perfect cold storage solution, convenient to use yet extremely secure.

It is here: www.versocards.com/tutorial

Enjoy and let us know if you have any comments/suggestions!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Verso is THE new cold storage solution. Easy to use and highly secure.

It combine a credit-card sized vault that contains all required information to send/receive bitcoins (vital information such as the private key is obviously encrypted) and a smartphone app that allows to actually move your fund in and out of the card.

And yes, the app is available on iOS.

You will be able to find more info on our website www.versocards.com and in the AMA we did on reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1y24db/hello_its_verso_cards_ama/.

Don't hesitate to ask further questions!

So if the card contains just a simple public/private keypair, why are you selling it for so much? Could i use the app to spend bitcoin from my own cold storage? Not that I would, because I don't know if it's sending my private keys back to you.

We believe in open-source technology.
Feel free to browse the code of our website / app libraries to see by yourself what is sent to us.
We never have access to your private key besides its encrypted version at the time we print your card.

Yes, you could use your own card with the app. You will miss some features such as the card name, which is stored on our servers (nothing you can't live with).

If we were to provide the card only, you could argue that 16.99 USD is expensive but we strongly believe that the combo card + app is worth at least the price of two beers  (yes, beer is not cheap in Switzerland) Smiley

Perhaps I came into this thread with the wring attitude. I did not realize it was open source. You should put these things in the OP

You are absolutely right to be suspicious about anything new that someone proposes when it comes to Bitcoin.
Past (and very recent, thank you MtGox) experiences show us that it is the correct behavior to adopt!
