Close to a new wallet folks. It cures hair loss and promotes weight loss .. or something.

Syncing 3 hours from fresh, going fast .. 60 blocks a second, at 530k block of 625k. Seems to me faster than before by a margin, but it's been a while since I synced a new wallet from fresh. Still, for a 17 month old blockchain, I call that super fast.

Explorer will come back online shortly too and I'll get cleaning on the OP this weekend.

-- syncing done after 3.5 hours, not bad. Test coins sent back and forth, works fine. Will do more testing tomorrow.
good job sir

Had no problem so far working with the wallet.

My wallet stopped syncing 28 hours ago on block 628648. It has 3 connections just isn't syncing fully. Any suggestions?

A client restart could help.

FYI:
Current Difficulty    87.24095972 at Block: 628667
Est. Next Difficulty 1.34722409 (Change in 1 Blocks)

Latest Block Time: August 11, 2015, 7:28 am (7h old)

Explorer: http://minemanic.com/emc2/index.php?block_hash=6b1f8820c76b1e1676836ddda3ca1421dc6c56e97ba09a36bca37067b0543f9c
Difficulty is calculated by Digishield instead of KGW and it's far too high.

Diff should be around 9-15.

my assumption:
Instaminer lefts the network and has abandoned us with a very high difficulty.
It started at 9th of August.

Cheers,
Ray

Or it could be that we are in a Wormhole event and the block reward is 2973...

I really like the idea of wormhole events, but how would you secure fast transactions while a wormhole occurs?

When we are in the wormhole, there shouldn't be any problems. The problem that can occur is what we're seeing right now. Someone boosted the difficulty high for the standard miner on the network.

Fast transactions aren't problem when the network is stable. When big miners enter the network and leave after a certain amount of time. That's when transactions will become slower. The only solution available right now, is getting more miners on the network to minimize the effect of those big miners.

Pretty much. This is the 1st time I have seen the network get stuck on high difficulty, and I've been paying attention since launch. Would only need 100Mhs to get it unstuck now.

LTC has dragged off pretty much the entire Scrypt hash power onto it for the halving in 2 weeks.

..

Let's hope it won't take 2 weeks for the network to get unstuck.

It's moving again. Some kind benefactor threw on 500Mhs and it's unstuck again. Think we'll have to chip in a bit and hire some Scrypt mining power, or .. I may look into getting 100Mhs miner when LTC halves and miners sell gear in despair again. That will keep network flowing regardless and put the coins in the Foundation coffers.

LTC really drained all Scrypt power, with prices on most coins staying the same, the Net Hash has fallen 80% across the board and went to LTC.

Looks like it's time to release the hounds .. wallet.

http://191.101.227.192:81/
and
http://minemanic.com/emc2/

why so different total supply ? which one is closer to real ?

I think both have different way to calculate the amount available.
You can find the correct amount on coinmarketcap: http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/einsteinium/

this can't be correct amount, it shows the same 176,005,451 for days,
they haven't even got a clue what block explorer to use

When done manually, the amount get close to 180millions coins
