BEWARE: EMC2 shills are trying very very hard to cover their fraudulent schemes - they need FOOLS who will be buying while they silently had begun to dump their coins - they are officially notified about de-listings from exchanges Bitterex and Poloniex.
You are probably just seeking attention

I'm a troll!!!
You're on you way of becoming a true troll. What fraudulent schemes? We refunded the amount bittrex lost in this single double-spend transactions that happened. If you want to know if the foundation is dumping, check the foundation address We've not been notified by Poloniex or Bittrex about delisting. We're staying on those exchanges. Only an update in the code will happen.

Hi all.. long time supporter here.. was quite surprised to see how well this coin is going.. just wanted to say:
Thanks for the the good work on reviving the coin and don't bother wasting your time feeding the trolls because they are only here to try and push the price down for their own financial gain..
and btw did you guys manage to get the EMC2 wallet back from the cryptsy class action? I saw that some of the communities got what was left of their coins back.
I found out too late to register for the class action..
I lost quite a few EMC2 that would be worth several thousand dollars by now.. (dw I was prepared to lose them that's why they were on a shitty exchange like crapsty)
I don't really mind if I don't get them back but it would be nice if they at least ended up in the hands of the foundation to be used for good works rather than in the hands of some crook or vulture opportunist..
Any news on that front?
Cheers

Namaste! there is a few weeks worth of work left to stabilize ... so when it is ready - news will be apparent ... it may not be a few weeks away - but thats what the aim is ... and yup - im being VERY general with how long - because no one likes a hardline hardnose deadline - unless we CAN fulfill it ... those of us who are in the authority to state dates - will ... btw - also worked on another pool from the CWI-Pool System ... but will be asking for testing internally - as the stratum port diffs are not correct as yet ... the lodiff is too lw i think - and the hidiff is ( currently ) the same as the low diff as we have no idea what a good starting high difficulty would be for scrypt ... tomorrow will we will work on this ... now - back to sleep for me ... #crysx

As for the gained knowledge and experience so far, I wouldn't bet too much on EMC2 right now, here are the facts and observations which have caused PM-Tech recently to quit support and is also referring to the coin as high-risk to it's customers: - The project is claiming to target the funding of scientific projects. To do so, they are claiming 2.5% of the total coin supply, those funds are kept by a natural person rather than an escrow
- According to the project description, 0.5% are reserved for daily costs, but 90% have been spent so far without public knowledge of the whereabouts
- The actual node code is not matching the propagated specifications in terms of block halving and total coin supply
- Any development, if there is any, is done in a hidden manner. Open Source Repositories do not show any public development branches.
- Bug fixing, if there is any, (and as we know the current nodes contain some issues) is done privately as well
- Some drafts of websites presented to community channels so far did only contain a few headlines, no detailed information nor any functionality
- A cluster of test net servers including nodes provided by PM-Tech and dedicated to project development hasn't been used once
- Any other development or testing infrastructure is not known to PM-Tech nor to the public
- There are for sure some very talented volunteers to the project, but still there is no infrastructure (as mentioned by CWI crysx himself, currently they are not holding any SCRYPT mining power on their own)
Those and even more points shouldn't break off another fight but have been observed by us and also reflected as concerns by a large portion of the community. Re-gaining people's trust is going to be a lot of work and will not happen from one day to another. But as it is my job, I will continue watching. So long, Mike

All good points.. I think an escrow at this point would be overkill and would still add risk. the only way to really secure the development fund coins would be to split them across multiple wallets and secure them with multi factor authentication. lets just hope that the wallet is safely encrypted, stored on an encrypted volume and kept in cold storage. I think the bigger risk is that of stolen coins from exchange hacks being dumped into the market at any moment. In any case, the Etherium DAO hack has already proven that, given community consensus, any security breach can be overcome. Agreed that greater transparency however would increase trust.

So long, Mike Hi Mike, I don't want to start discussion with you as there is no point but as I said to you and to your "counterpart" developer with whom you had issue, your private fights shouldn't take place here. And this statement of yours as a result of your fight is not proper at all. As it is a result of your fight with him. Also I found very interested statement " - Some drafts of websites presented to community channels so far did only contain a few headlines, no detailed information nor any functionality
". I found my self and my company's project here. If you were referring to demo website which we are developing http://4you.emc2.syncitgroup.com then you are so wrong. The store will be published very soon as a C2C ecommerce store with PayPal c2c payment integration. And if you think that any serious Company would publish its work every 2 days just to indulge someone's wishes - you are also SO WRONG. Today I can say that first emc2 c2c e-commerce site will be done and published any day now. Also, SyncIt Group Company will join efforts with current developers to speed up development of emc2 wallet. After that the wallet will be implemented n 4you store. We'll implement wallet and its API as a public Magento extension so other stores can use it as a payment gateway. First will release extension for Magento 1.9.x and after that for Magetno 2.x. SyncIt Group Company and our portfolio guarantee for this. http://www.syncitgroup.com/our-portfolio/And for you Mike, one business advice. Don't spit on your former team. That more tells about you then about them/us and about future of emc2 coin.
