Adoption will still grow even without ETF, its going to be slow just as how it is now but definitely bitcoin today is popular that the regular people which people I never though would know BTC are now sharing on facebook about what they are up to. SEC will be forced to approve ETF as they see it grow even more after they have rejected last year. It resist so if they reject this once again, its going to be their loss because the adoption of digital assets are unstoppable.

Adoption is by far more important than the ETF.  Hell no one ever cared about ETF's last year and we were fine and skyrocketing.  Makes you wonder why everyone cares so much now and it seems to be the make or break item for Bitcoin.  It's laughable.

MenaPay - Crypto made easier than cash

Adoption in cryptocurrency is one of the answers for a bull run but before that happens, we also should have a concrete rules and regulations to protect those adopters. Just like when you shop online, you buy their things and you know that you are protected with the company if you receive a defective item. If you apply that to cryptocurrency, the investors are the buyers while their government is the company.

The both of them are important to us, because any one of them can make the other one to happen, if more adoption happens, then it is more likely ETF will follow and if ETF happens, then more likely more people will adopt it.

Last year the ETF was also rejected, but you've seen a great year, the ETF declined and soon the bitcoin went up nearly 20k USD. So ETF is not so important to the crypto market, it only reinforces confidence in this market

ETF will certainly help to bring more crypto adoption but that doesn't mean the adoption won't come if etf is denied. Adoption is way more important and you can see with the price movement that people don't care about etf, I am sure that most people don't know etf before there's news about it so crypto is going to be fine, although the adoption is slow but people will start to use it as it become more and more popular.

When i think about ETF, i think more investment will come. It is good for bitcoin and also alts. But how if it will become like late 2017? when majority crypto users are traders and investors who expect moon and lambo. And cryptocurrency become speculative things rather than digital currency.

Now we see the result. Crypto market hard to recover because no one want to buy, we only hold and waiting whales or random person to start a bull run or "institutional money" to come in.
Same person who buy and sell.

I think we might see different result if cryptocurrency have wide adoption/real usage as digital currency, because that will bring continuous real demand. and market recovery wouldn't be too hard

More adoption is the healty answer - that which would add real value to the Bitcoin network. ETFs is the insane answer, how to put the already casino-like crypto environment on wall Street steroids. Of course, we would have much bigger pumps. And dumps - never forget that.

If ETF get accepted then a lot of money will flow into crypto and that will make the adoption easier as the media coverage will help spread the word, but that doesn't mean the situation is bad if etf is rejected, it's just adoption will happen slower but we will be there in the end.

More adoption is definetely more important but ETF will also bring more adoption, so this question does not make sense. We need it for more adoption.

Of course, without whales, the price of crypto currency will not grow to the moon, but these same whales lower prices! If were the whales did not press the price, I think that were  have another picture - much better!

As more and more people use crypto governments would eventually catch on and want to use it. I mean look at Bitcoin at it's beginnings, it didn't have much adoption but as time went on it grew to the point where the average person has heard of it.

Both are great but it's definitely not the ETF kind of investment... Cryptocurreny don't need it.
We already have a good way of attracting investments -    It's called ICO. It can be made better in the future. By the way, investments should come in form of project development.

Adoption is great too. We need lots of users. Crypto/Blockchain desperately needs it now to make p2p transaction more likely. More users also mean more traffic, more consumption, increase in investment. It will also encourage the expansion of Cryptocurrency/Blockchain infrastructures.

Both is kinda important
But adoption should always be prioritized compare to investment

However, ETF does shows a recognition of acceptance of Bitcoin and thus increase confidence and it will lead to adoption

As soon as they accept the ETF, I think this will immediately have a positive effect on the entire market!

Approval of a bitcoin ETF will provide an immediate catalyst that will flood the crypto market with new money/liquidity and should trigger a bull run.

The two of them is important, which ever one that comes first will make the other one to happen, if mass adoption happens, it will fasten ETF and if ETF happen, it will make the mass adoption to happen.

For me I believe ETF will surely bring mass adoption to the crypto space, I believe once ETF is approved, it will create create FOMO in the space, which will make more people to join the space and invest in the crypto currency
This is only going to create speculation, I'm not completely against it because we can benefit through it but at the same time if what we want is to have a stable high price in the future we need adoption, that is what we really need and for that we need that the market of cryptocurrencies in general is managed in a more professional way, until that is the case the market is not going to reach its full potential.

I consider that the hype around ETF was sensible. The rejection ETF causes many investors no to trust in crypto assets and moreover some institutional investors and funds are not able to invest in crypto assets without ETF and has invoked a new wave of negative cash flow. I think we should understand if SEC has rejected ETF it menas that SEC does not trust crypto market and crypto market does not suit for all prerequisites to launch ETF on bitcoin. I think we should be more careful to invest in various crypto assets especially in the current moment because I suppose that the downtrend on crypto market is still continuing.

but in my opinion if only ETFs were really rejected, then chances are that what could happen is that other bitcoins and altcoins only occur temporarily dumps, so recovering in crypto can still occur, maybe this is just a trick of politicians who want to enter the crypto world
