what do you think of nvidia rtx 2080 series, good for mining?

Did not see any reference to mining, only mention non-crypto features i.e. ray tracing in real time and AI. Any thought? For me it is not ideal card for cryptomining at all.

mining is unprofitable. so it will be not worth, even if it does 100mh. difficulty is rising, and prices are going down. It's just not intelligent to buy GPU's for mining.

Rtx 2080 series is not good for mining because of its price. The best of them the RTX 2080 ti is priced over 1000 dollars and this is not a good price for a card that will be used to mine.

I have also said this in other threads but I want to repeat here as it is really important for people who want to start mining, and especially for people with 0.02-0.03 electricity cost.

You can now with the price of the RTX 2080 ti build a miner with 6 Rx series cards because their price have dropped a lot in ebay. This is a better option for a mining rig rather than going with RTX 2080 ti.
