I am a newbie to the forum and become Jr.Member. New rules on the rank of forum have made me much affected. You know, the downfall of a newbie and not being able to carry a signature is a very bad thing. I participated in the 20 Week campaign for a campaign  signature and now I'm at risk of losing. I'm happy with the new rules of the forum, but I think there needs to be a solution to help the real newbie!

The real obstacle for newbie

1. You know, bitcointalk is not as popular in the world as you think, most people know very limited. This means that many new members of the forum are not good at English, do not know much about cryptocurrency.

2. Be a newcomer, you know, the number of people involved in the signature campaign of the project is very little, because they do not know what the campaign is like. This points to the fact that newbie participants in the signature campaign are not really newbie. It is the members who have been active for a long time on the forum, and they want to increase their income by creating more newbie accounts.

3. I have been involved for three months and I almost do not know what is the merit and where it come from. This proves that the newbie as I know quite vague about how to get a merit.

4. I read the tutorials on earning merit and found many problems for newbies. Besides I try to build the forum with quality posts, but do quality articles get attention from the community or are they only interested in bounty issues?

The last word I want to send to newbie like me, try, they have done, we will also do. And hope the members have been active in the forum, encourage newbiew and guide them, instead of always disparaging and attacking new people like me, nobody is better than anyone, do not be arrogant. The article will have many grammatical and spelling mistakes, so please ignore it. Thank for attention!

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

if you read there it says if you can't reach the new limit, this isn't the forum for you  Roll Eyes

Theymos said this about signature campaigns:
P.S. I copied all of the signatures and personal texts before wiping them from the demoted users. If bounty managers need info about this, send me a PM like "Please send me a list of all demoted users who had '_______' in their signature".

You should ask your bounty managers to contact him to get a list of users who had the correct signature.

I agree that Bitcoin Talk is not as "popular" as it used to be, and there is a simple reason for this, many of the former members have moved on, and this may be as a result of the struglle to get a decent discussion started and maintained.

If you have been here for 3 months, and you don't understand the merit system, then you are really in the wrong forum.

Learn to change your attitude, see other posts which receive merits, you will know what the quality is. Then set your target for getting your first merit.
