But no answer from them.

Anything else I can do to recover it?

You can update the OP with the singed address and someone else can verify it. Than you wait until the hell freezes over LOL


PS: Keep bumping this topic every after 24 hours until you are successful to recover your account. There are several people are doing the same since loooonnnnngggg time.

OP unfortunately you’re going to have to be patient. It’s not what you want to hear but theymos & Cyrus aren’t too quick at unlocking accounts even when you’ve signed a message provibg ownership of an account.

Like the post above mine says bump this once every 24 hours, also send theymos & or Cyrus a PM once a week to try & get their attention.

Be patient. Being an admin of a forum of such size is hard.

Besides, are you sure that the signature checks out? I tried verifying it online and on electrum, but both methods didn't work.

Also, did you read the hacked account recovery thread thoroughly?

Send one PM to Cyrus. If Cyrus doesn't respond after two weeks, you can try sending a PM to me instead. When sending a PM, use a template like this:

Not necessarily account recovery has been stalled for months, even when people post everything properly.

My advice OP is this is now your account and you should go about using the forum much as you did before.  Here you can review my options for trying to tie your accounts together in case you want to hold onto any reputation you have built until such a time as recovery is an option. You will need to properly sign a message, and post a link to an unedited post containing that address for anything to happen.

That's the current problem on forum. Theymos should give priority to recover account. As well you know how hard build a ranked account and other question is reputation. If any account hacked with green trust, there is huge chance for scam. It will effect on trust reputation.

I would like request to theymos please assign a team of 2 or 3 trusted person for recovery hacked account. If not than at least serve a day weekly only for recovery account.

He says send one to cyrus. If not after two weeks then PM theymos, but this is outdated and irrelevant info. Neither are seemingly responding or restoring accounts and they don't seem to have been for quite some time. Some people have been waiting nearly a year to get their accounts back and without even getting a response at all. Until theymos either automates the process or grants someone access to aid in their recovery then they're likely just not going to happen right now regardless of how many messages you may or may not send them.

There's nothing you can do realistically. Theymos and cyrus just refuse to hire some people to do the job for some reason, so the only hope left is that theymos delivers eventually the so called automated system to give everyone a fair chance to recover their accounts.

Anyone that has cryptographic proof (posted a BTC address before the hack in an unedited post) should be able to recover the account automatically without any further wait. The difficult part for me would be to automate the script into knowing if the post is or isn't unedited or detecting that it's a valid quote by someone else. But it should be able to be done and once fine tuned it should work. That will be one of the most important additions to the forum and hopefully the massive backlog is finally cleaned.

I have always followed a ban accounts appeal in this section and most of them were full member in rank which is hard to attained. Sighs, they are just wasting their time and effort on ranking up the accounts that were being banned.

Anyway, I am not against on banning plagiarist users. In fact this should be carried on. I do not want either to reply a stolen posts from others. Besides, I can't imagine a forum with huge number of plagiarist users. A good discussions will not carried out and a complete mess will be likely to happen.

then in 1 minute another email that my email is successfully changed and if its not me that changed it, I can block my account and recover it in 2 weeks with the provided link.

Both emails should have a link to confirm or undo if its not you not to block your account and wait months for recovering it.

So I blocked my account and here I am 6 months later ...

Im not sure if anything that isn't stricly an address posted here within a forum post in an unedited or quoted post will do tho. But if you are someone known within a project you may be able to arrange something with theymos and cyrus but the automated system may only work within addresses posted here I assume.

Yeah that system only works to stop people from posting with your account, that's the idea, but then you are still stuck without recovering it.
