Hi

8-10 weeks ago, I wanted to change my wallet.dat file.
Temporarily, I sent my coins to GOX , created a new wallet.dat file and sent them back.
So far, all looks good. The question is - is it possible that there is another copy of these coins due to GOX security hole  ?
How would I know ?

To clarify my question , if I understood correctly , GOX security hole allowed people to use the coins twice once they were transacted from GOX to outside wallets (if I understood correctly)

Thanks for your help !

You have not understood correctly. As long as your coins belong to an address in your current wallet, there's at least one confirmation of the transaction, and you're the only one who has the private keys of the addresses in your wallet, you are okay.

Exactly. And transaction malleability is not the same as double spending.

thanks !
relief...

I was really lucky since most of my coins were transferred back.
However , I left 8 coins on GOX after that transaction so I contributed my money to someone .... I hope he will have lots of fun with it (in hell).
