Knock it if you want, yes it sounds crazy, but that shit works.

I guess, if your ultimate goal in life is to find a girl stupid enough to fall for some dumb shit like that.

It's not about their intelligence, it's about preselection.  Ever walk into a house where a woman lives vs where only a man lives?  It has that 'womans touch'.  Paintings on the wall, folded decorative towels in the washroom, etc.  If you're wearing a crazy outfit (that flows, mind you), with confidence (of course), you're massively more likely to get, maintain, and control attention than wearing just some jeans and a t-shirt.

Yeah okay. You know that most girls these days are aware of these techniques, right? And even the ones who aren't can quite clearly see manipulation for what it is. Well, the ones with half a brain anyway.

Quote
I mean, I get that it's foreign (it was foreign to me as well when I first got into that scene), but the stuff works.

No, it's not foreign to me at all. Something Awful has been laughing at you guys for years. There was a whole damn cable series about the subject of the OP. Your creepy secrets have been out for a long time. That doesn't make them any less creepy or manipulative or just plain stupid.

Oh gee, well if something awful says it's so, must be so!

/boggle

I'm happilly married with a kid now, probably wouldn't have been as well off as I am w/o learning some social confidence that those things taught me.  To each their own, I guess.

Edit: Think about it - if you're bad at math, you get a tutor.  It's the same thing, but with talking to the opposite sex. 'Social skills' aren't really taught in most societies, and it's hard to learn on your own if you don't already have them (high functioning autistics, for example).  For some people, that just freaks them out, I was one of them, I would guess people hangin out on a 'cryptocurrency' forum may fall into the same category.  So if you need a tutor, sign up.

Meeting and manipulating women is much easier when I think of it like a videogame, with similar point systems and an occasional quicktime event.

I guess I should congratulate you on conning yourself a wife, Mr. "high-functioning" Autistic.

Oh, there seem to be some misconceptions about -it- and what -I- did.

I was very poor at talking to women.  Extremely.  Then I learned about this, toyed around with it, toyed around with other techniques.  All very fascinating stuff.  After I gained that confidence, I left the scene.  But those skills aquired there gave me the confidence to find the love of my life (many years later)

Are there creepy guys who do messed up shit in that area?  Certainly, just google Ross Jeffries.  But to blanket label the whole idea is just flaunting your ignorance.

It is entirely worth blanketing, because it's entire basis is the notion that everything a woman does is predictable/falls into a pattern that can be gamed to get what you want.

You know what works for attracting women, guaranteed to work every single time? Talk to them like they are people, just like any of your friends/family/other dudes.
(it works because they are people too! Just saved you some money

"I'm confident in my ignorance, and you're a bad person because you don't agree with me"

"It" is not -solely- about 'getting into panties'.  "It" starts out as getting over social anxiety, and doing exactly what you suggest. For some people, talking to the opposite sex comes very naturally. For others, it's foreign and scary. One of the first things I did was take the 'newbie boot camp', which is essentially just going to a public place and saying 'Hi' to everyone you see.  Just a friendly 'Hey'.  Hours of this, and then you go home and realize that people didn't jump down your throat for talking - that the world isn't -so- scary.  Few weeks later, I can finally go past 'Hi' and do some chit-chat.  Build upon that until you're comfortable enough to convey your personality, how to convey your personality, etc.  Now if you'd like to explain how that makes me 'an empty shell of a human being', go for it.  That's what I meant by 'blanket label'.  Zero-tolerance of anything is just an excuse not to think.

Are there people who manipulate, trample, and leave?  yeah, certainly, but there are far more 'naturals' who do that, and they're just as gross. I do not condone 'manipulating' women.  I do condone learning social skills if you don't have them.

While basic confidence training might be included in most of these training camps, it is something you can get elsewhere. This is because the focal point of pick up artistry is not the confidence thing, it's about manipulating human feelings and behaviors in a numbers game for sex.

Unfortunatly, it's true that a lot of people are in it for the panties.  For me, I just didn't know where else to go to learn social skills  Undecided

Personally I'm happy to let the ignorant stay ignorant.  Having an understanding of how men and women, and humans in general interact  verbally and non-verbally sets you on a different level.  What you do with that knowledge is a personal choice.

Assuming that people who have this knowledge are somehow up to no good just makes you ignorant.  Just because someone packages it as pickup material doesn't invalidate the knowledge.

Yup.  I figure there is a lot of people into Bitcoin that are into Social Engineering.  This is no different, except the guy packages it a certain way and maybe his reasoning for why some things happen is off.   I made this thread because I watched the full season of the tv show he had, and I thought it was entertaining as well as having some sad insights on attractions.

I read the book The Game, it's actually pretty good.  It is not Mystery's book.  It's about a guy who gets help from Mystery, all supposedly true.  This was way before the stupid TV series that made them look ridiculous.

It doesn't have to be good or evil.  Make of it what you will.  Most the stuff in the book I already knew.  Thankfully I am not socially crippled like the audience this material is mostly intended for.

The fact is it's easy to judge when you don't know what you're talking about.  Try being a little more open minded.

Look at the bright side.  Think about how many guys there are in the world who would love to just get laid.  I imagine Mystery and his goons get sought out quite a bit.  This is good for bitcoin, it should gain a lot of attention from this.

Spoiler: socially awkward characters get married in the book.  It's not solely about getting into panties.

Another option is just to go after guys. They're into the same stuff you're into, they don't go crazy once a month, and they already know what you like and how you like it  Wink

Besides, if you dress like the guys in the photo (especially the preening one on the right), you might as well go for it.

LOL, I love you for this reason, Rassah. A much better option than calling any of the guys in the photo for help...

Think about how many girls there are in the world who would love to be treated like human beings. Nah, better not. Your horniness is more important.

Marriage is the epitome of treating a woman like an object. It is a legal fiction regarding property rights, and offspring responsibility. Marriage is the result of a monetary system that perpetuates competition and false scarcity, and this is the major reason that marriage is declining and divorce rates are increasing. If we actually cared for other people on this planet, we would care for children as a community, not as the property of a legal fiction designed to remove responsibility from everyone else. The impulse to pair-bond is real, but the social rules around a contrived relationship such as marriage is ultimately destructive in the face of a rapidly advancing technological society.

Bitcoin combines money, the wrongest thing in the world, with software, the easiest thing in the world to get wrong.

Bitcoin is meant to liberate people. It's all about freedom.

What does it matter if someone is spending their hard earned coin on porn, attracting women, stamp collecting, hentai?

It's this sort of ridicule on others that brings Bitcoin more damage than what it's used to trade for.

We all have our opinions about what's right and what's wrong but the one enduring fact is that over time, morals change and the direction they're heading is that if it doesn't cause me or anyone else any harm, let them be.

It doesn't actually cause harm to use the same toilets as a black person.

It doesn't actually cause harm to let women vote.

It doesn't actually cause harm to smoke pot.

It doesn't actually cause harm to watch two girls play with their own excrement.

It doesn't actually cause harm to attract women in an odd manner.

Next you'll be telling me that spending Dollars on Bitcoins is a ridiculous notion - I mean really, a currency based on maths? Pull the other one...

If this post was useful, interesting or entertaining, then you've misunderstood. 1N6rmaDiPf8ke3mx8217NykAMDZXkX713x

You appear to be disgusted at the men that game women, but lay no blame at the women's feet for being the petty shallow individuals that allow this stuff to work.  Interesting.

Not that I'm saying one is better than the other, but it seems silly to vilify only one side of the same shitty coin.

I think what you are saying is that both of these types of people would totally deserve each other.
