If this scammy ICO trend would continue then its not surprising that sooner or later this would come to and end yet no investors would easily entrust their money to invest with them and the sad fact even the legit ones would really be mainly affected on such scenario.For now on the current market condition its not wise for you to make any investment unless if you do see a good one which you can exempt it into other shady ico's.
Your profitability would depend on the risk that you can able to throw off.

If a project has a serious team capable of fulfilling their target in the roadmap then is good to get involve now and buy it since the market is down, at later time when the market reach it previous all time high, then your investment will also reach a higher level. But the problem is selecting a good ICO. I think looking at ICO that is already on listing to an exchange is best than a fresh ICO which might not be able to get listed on exchange.

    To test the truth of a Team is really difficult, because they can be fake, because people they fake rarely respond to messages from strangers, so I can not confirm this is real or fake Team. I am also thinking of investing some ICOs on the exchange that is minimize risk.

Though there still legit ICO's out there doing good projects, still I won't take a risk investing in ICO's right now. As far as I can see with the new tokens listed in exchanges, the value is not as good as it is. The team behind that project I think is not even doing more innovation to sustain their projects and keeping it more valuable in the future. Once the token is listed in the exchange, so be it.

Currently there are many bad and good ICO projects. some still cheat the investors. So at any time, ICO projects are still active but now ICO projects are in trouble. Most of the ICO these days are either shit or scam they have been all around here popping like mushrooms, i don't know if the legit one will either really continue their proposed projects but mostly of them are running already including the development team.
How i wish that there were still a legit ICO these days it seems that most of them are driven by the greed of themselves.
