i`ve chosen this coin to begin with, - bought 2 used ATI cards (7950 + 7870) having ~1.1mh together. I`m too slow for litecoin, so I`ll mine credits hoping for its price to increase in future  Smiley

Iv'e pretty much had a similar scenario, had a R9 290 since December but due to the rising difficulty of majority of coins, just one card isnt enough anymore (Poor student Sad ). I've like the look of this coin since i first layed eyes on it. Too many crap coins overshadow the ones with potential.

Great to see newcomers mining credits. Remember to contribute to make credits popular, or else the price will stay the same. Donate to people promoting credits and find a way to promote it yourself

I know there's tons on the Dev's table right now, but I was hoping they might get a chance to investigate lowering the block reward much further after the event.

The lower it is, the more "power" the initial adopters have in helping the development. To be more clear, if the block reward is 100-500, offering up 100k CR for a payment or an event is a big deal. If the block reward remains astronomically high, the large holders of CR won't have as much ability to positively affect the coin using CR themselves. Just a thought.

They are actually going to put the reward back to 2000/block which isn't the best idea if you ask me. A reward around 100 to 500 would seem more stable for credits because at least the market might be able to keep up with the production rate.

I really hope Credits does something sick. I really like it, it has a super cool idea; the virtual currency for virtual things is legit.

agree in this market  supply is exceeding demand.

I like how fair the coin was, i like how they get their coins from pools, be good if everyone supported the dev pools.

I think the blocks should not have increased in size though.

For the love of god, don't leave the rewards at 2000/block after the inflation period. There is already 127 Million in circulation we're good

This has been said a lot, by several posters. Do the Dev's have a comment?

Long story short: I can't personally host the sc2 tournament. Could someone else host something similiar? LoL/Dota/sc/cs etc? I'll transfer the prize pool donations to the devs.

Alright, just send it to CLkRQfUsQyVEAf14xMg3wkpBYHhWro8Lpq , we'll figure something else out.

And as for the hard fork, yes coming soon with patch + lower block reward.  I'm figuring out some stuff about the poker room right now, I didn't realize that one of the guys hadn't been working on it for the past five days.

They don't seem to ever address this... If they don't I'm not going to continue mining this coin. I already got burn on MRC devs failure to adjust inflation rates and lost over 85% of my investment and all of my mining time invested. I'm not going to make the same mistake twice because a dev doesn't know basic economics.

I agree that the block reward should be lower then 2000 in the future, but i dont agree about it being lower then 500.
If we lower the reward too much there will be little incetive for miners to continue supporting this coin.
Also if the coin picks up momentum after the poker room comes out, it wuld be fair that people can still get a reasonable amount of coins to play with by mining.

Yeah it will most likely be decently higher than 1000, maybe 1450 to start..  And then it will be the same, down 20% after every three months.  By doing this we're preventing a pump and dump with both the inflation period, and block reward decreases.
