Hi, my Redeemable Balance has not moved since at least this morning  Huh something wrong  Huh

No, we have to manually transfer money from our Cryptsy wallet to our own so that we can make payouts redeemable. As long as your estimated and confirmed balance are going up while you mine, then there is nothing wrong.

EDIT: You can read the whole process here: https://hashbros.co.in/blog/2014/estimated-balance-confirmed-balance-redeemable-balance

In other news not much externally visible development has been going on. I've been working on moving from a unicorn app servers to a puma app server, mostly for speed and to decrease memory usage. We will probably be moving all the coin nodes to puma as well.
Next up I will be optimizing how our background tasks are done so that the coin stats job is run every single minute and things like processing redemptions will only happen every 15 minutes. There is also a problem where redemption processing can take a while when updating about 5k payout rows in the DB. We'll be optimizing this with batch updates. After this we're going to continue to look for ways to speed things up as demand will only go higher.

On the front end prepare for more in depth worker/user/pool analytics and more API endpoints. Also we will be adding kittehcoin tonight.

Looks like the hash rate has dropped as some of our big miners have left after their earnings changed when we fixed a bug. If theres anything we could we'd love to hear it.

The thing thats going to attract most users is increasing the amount of coins on the pool (particularly with new coins that are highly profitable) and increasing bth/mh.

Right now we only support Cryptsy so we're a bit limited by that. Cryptsy has been really reliable for us and I can hardly imagine using other services because they are all so fucking sketchy and lack APIs. Coinedup has no APIs, Vircurex is way too sketchy, coinmarket.io has no trade API and once again, sketchy as hell. You can't even find out whos running some of these exchanges.

We make tweak how our BTC/MH is calculated because other sites show the BTC/MH depending on only accepted shares which would inflate our rate a bit.

Despite our decreasing pool hash rate (*sniffle*) we're currently pulling out the highest BTC/MH/DAY we've ever had.

Currently sitting at  0.01148445 BTC/MH/DAY

pretty amazin

Also. Since the pool hash rate is low we're trying to cut costs, so we've taken down stratum servers for coins we don't ever mine.

Any hung redemptions should not be processed, a service's API was down causing the redemptions to fail. We now have a way of retrying failed redemptions cleanly and a better way to see them initially. Been busy this week with the real day job, should have some good development this weekend. Down worker notifications at the least.

Are you guys fast switching for variable block reward coins yet?  Ala, only mine when the next block is worth a certain amount.  Or are you still calculating profitability based on average coin reward?

We dropped alot of coins since our pool hash rate dropped so we aren't even running any variable coins yet.
