Cryptsy have problems with DAMA deposits. I sent 3 deposits to them, but none arrived.
I created on 3 Jan 2015 support ticket #172419, but they still ignore it. Problem is not solved.  Angry

If anyone can, please, contact a BigVern (Cryptsy admin) and report to him this problem directly.

It's senseless until Cryptsy fix their DAMA deposit issue. You simply can't deposit your coins.

I can confirm that Crypsty is bilking deposits, apparently. My support ticket is weeks old. 11 deposits over 1 million DMC each. At the time I deposited the price was 11 latoshi, then it hit 4, now it's back up to 7. Sometimes I feel that my deposits for any coin do not clear unless the it's somehow disdvantageous to me.

If anyone actually has a working node, we could, you know, take the DIY cryptocurrency route here and actually just rely on ourselves. Which is kind of the point in some respects. If this were a fiat currency and the institutions were somehow robbing us, we'd still have to find a way to feed ourselves. It might involve counterfeiting our own dollars and exchanging them amongst ourselves. In our case I'm referring more to people taking the currency back. I mean we invested energy and time into this, we deserve our just dues.

Just my two cents. Please get in touch directly if you have a node up and running.

Was about to close the wallet down again when I saw that it was suddenly working.  It was the last node address with the port number after a colon that seemed to work.

I'm willing to set up another node if I can. I'd need a bit of guidance as I've never run a node before. Now syncing the wallet.

PS -- Thank you to AikaPool for running a pool for DMC! As one user, I humbly ask that you keep it going for at least 90 days. Perhaps this small community could figure out what our strengths and weaknesses are and sort of reclaim the coin, is what I was getting at earlier. I'm willing to pay a 25% miner fee for the duration of the 90 days if AP is willing to possibly set up a node for us.

I got someone at Cryptsy to run it up to the execs... hopefully we should see some movement on the deposit problem.

I might go with another VPS but I would like to know how nodes work!

node is just normall wallet
i always use daemon ( command line version )

just add to your config

port=ur port (ex 12344)
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
disablewallet=1

and make sure your port is opened (  adjust firewall settings )

I have open ticket with DAMA problem on Cryptsy since 3 Jan 2015. They do nothing to solve it.
I even sent them a full DAMA blockchain and compiled wallets for Win and Linux - still nothing.

Yeah. I think it's time to give this some media attention. I've got 11 million DaMa outstanding as well.

they didn't resolve your ticket.
I suddenly found someone on bitcointalk who works for cryptsy and told him. His nickname is mullick
by the time I told him, he fixed it within minutes Tongue
