I do believe that fiat currencies are necessary in the world because each fiat currency of every country has uniqueness and it represents the culture, tradition and history of a country.
We need the benefits not the history, people in several countries are living very bad life only because  have no good source of earning but bitcoin is being a good source of earning for a lot of people all of us are getting income only because of crypto currency, according to me we need crypto currency the most because we can do everything with crypto currency that we are doing fiat,
I also agree that bitcoin is profitable, because the function of bitcoin is not only for currency but also investment, but that does not mean that fiat is not necessary for life, especially in the current world financial system, you cannot live without fiat, because the current currency in every country using fiat, it is very important for life

Yes fiat currencies are much necessary in the world because people can keep it with them for personal possession and for those who are not aware of crypto and banks they can easily do with fiat they can buy sell things for fiat and it is convenient for every one.

Until now, we all still use fiat in our respective countries, and of course that is necessary. each country has a different fiat value, therefore it requires fiat for each country. many people think that fiat can be replaced with bitcoin, but I think it's still very difficult.

Cryptocurrencies certainly offer some advantages that are absent with fiats, however, fiats play another role for government as it is a tool to control the supply of money and as such control the economy, that will be difficult to replace with crypto in the future
what you convey is true that crypto currency is an alternative currency as a companion to fiat's eyes because the development of technology and development in the future will make everything possible

The legal currency is the economic representative of a country!
Since currency is the direct representative of state sovereignty, monetary property rights are a kind of sovereign property rights. Strict legality and regionality are the fundamental characteristics of credit currency.
The fiat currency will not disappear!

For me, no. Cryptocurrency is not an alternative currency or a companion to fiat, for now it is just a crypto that is being used to gain or give you profit in the time that the price of it is high.

There are are no alternative for fiat or the usual currency that we use in our countries. If there will be an alternative that we use instead of fiats, I think cards will be the one which we will be talking. ATMs and Credit Cards are so popular to people right now and I don't see it to be the next way or method of payment in the future, not crypto but these cards.

in the future, will there really be a need for fiat currency? Government can collect taxes in crypto, determine how to allocate it, and spend it in crypto. Ppl can receive salaries and do all commerce using crypto. Loans can be done in crypto. Fundraising can be in crypto. Sure, problems have to be worked out in terms of scalability, does it have to be completely decentralized, etc, the value has to become more stable. But theoretically, is there any reason to have fiat in the future?

It has been established that governments can now do taxation without representation by printing more money (which is a tax on everyone holding the currency), instead of trying to get a bill passed that allows it to increase the tax rate. With crypto this would be no more. All increased taxation would have to pass a vote.

From an economic standpoint, the idea that a country can stimulate its economy by adjusting interest rates is tenuous. There is just as strong an argument that lowering interest rates has caused speculation and bubbles, with calamitous results. In a crypto market economy, capital will flow from where it is needed less to where it is needed more.
If you watch the video of the outstanding man Jacque Fresco, you will understand that in the idealistic world people can exist without fiat money and without money at all. There is even such a project - "Wiener". But in my opinion this is utopia, because no one will let fiat money go aside.

if viewed from the aspect of economics, technology, modernization and lifestyle, in the future fiat money is no longer needed because it has been fulfilled by crypto currency, but if it is seen from a social and cultural perspective it seems impossible, there are many social and cultural structures that cannot be replace it with sophisticated technology, you know that even now the technology is sophisticated but in remote areas it still uses the barter system, so changes may occur but it will not be fully implemented, and again if true cripto or bitcoin has replaced fiat then it must in a situation where price stability has occurred, then investment will no longer be attractive because there will be no high price fluctuations, we will see what the future will be because no one can predict it.

cryptocurrency could not replace fiat in any condition, but it could be alternative for general payment in international trade , or online payment sytem.

I agree, cryptocurrecies may have some advantages with fiat but it doesn't mean that it could replace fiat in the near future, cryptocurrecies can only be an alternative method of payment for transactions. fiat wouldn't be necessary if the world would be a cashless society.

Money is no longer transferred between hands, so at least cash money is not necessary. However, fiat money is still necessary as it is the fabric that binds together corporations, governments and individuals, without it there would be no link between them, and until we have a viable alternative it is necessary.
This might be possible in developed countries because the scenario in developing countries is a bit different despite the advancement in the technology that is considered as a global public good and its availability free of cost.

I think that it is still very important to make the day to day transactions if you are a citizen to a developing country for the system is not upgraded in all the regions and is not accessible to all so for the day to day transaction, the money should be in the form of fiat.

In the future, fiat is not necessary. However, this future needs a very long time. The replacement of fiat has to be united among nations, which is really hard because the economy between the nations is so great. "Bitcoin replaces fiat", we say it is easy but when we do it is really hard.

They are more than important because we need them in lots of ways. Cryptocurrency can’t be our cryptocurrencies, it doesn’t have what it takes to be used in replacing our currencies. Fiat is much better in a lot of ways. I just started to notice that some people are blaming their problems on their currency (fiat) and I see it quite funny.

If your country is bad then you have your country’s government to blame for that and when your country currency value is poor, you should also have your government to blame for it.

Currencies of individual states will exist until the need for them disappears. And this will be decided in all cases by the representative bodies of these states. The need for national money may disappear when uniting the economic and financial systems of different countries as it was done in the European Union. In all other cases, the currency of individual states will exist as long as the state exists.

they will continue to believe and convince themselves in the respective country's currency, the use of the euro currency only as a joint incentive to escape the influence of the USD exchange rate. But all will change if finally they adopt crypto, fiat needs will shift digitally and they must be able to make their people adapt immediately.

In depends on how the state recognize a certain currency that circulates the entire nation. Somehow it cannot eliminate the usage of fiat money system, because it's very necessary specially it's a usual mode of payment used on both local and international transactions. Digital only exist with cryptocurrency patronizers but not the whole world.

The term digital currency has existed before ten years, but it has to travel long to reach the entire population. Right now what we have as user base is very low compared to the fiat. People were much attached to it, and the same will make fiat currency usage continue forever even when there is increasing digit currency usage on the other side.

It is always necessary because it shows the inflation and economic situation of a country. fiat money is not only used for payment, it is also used in many fields such as economics and politics. You will see a poor country as its currency always loses its value over time and developed countries have always kept the value of fiat over the years. That is the nature of fiat money and it is very important.

Yes, I believe it is. People need it rather exchanging goods by another goods. But it was only convenient when digital still did not exist but now bitcoin is now here, maybe they still have a place and necessary for some community.
